About This Property
Available anytime after January 1st. Tiny house (studio apartment style) on our property. It has a big loft that can be used for sleeping or for storage; kitchen with butcher block countertops; teak floors; ceiling fan; and central air/heat. Lots of windows and natural light. We are looking for someone who is on a minimalist path by choice and wants to live in a more sustainable way. This tiny house is part of a small tiny house community that we built on our property of 2.5 acres of beautiful wooded land that is quiet and serene. In addition to our own tiny house, we have 5 other tiny house rentals here. The tiny houses are spaced 20 to 30 feet apart, with nature all around. Tenants have access to laundry facilities on site. Because it's a tiny house, we didn't want to take up dedicated space with an oven, so we provide a Cuisnart cooktop burner that works very well for typical cooking, and tenants are welcome to bring a toaster oven, microwave, and/or other small cooking appliances. The surrounding neighborhood is safe, peaceful, and established (50+ years), with an HOA in part of it, and with mostly site-built houses. Located 7 miles from downtown Conroe and 15 miles from The Woodlands. We have two daughters and we homeschool. We like to travel and spend time outdoors, hiking, etc. We are laid-back and friendly and we enjoy having people around. We also respect privacy, of course. Rent is $800/month and includes wifi, water, sewer and trash. Refundable security deposit of $800. Electric is metered. Month-to-month lease, although we are looking for someone who plans to stay for a while! Smoke-less and drug-less property. We’d be glad to meet you and show you our property and the tiny house that’s available!

Conroe is located in Montgomery County just north of Houston. Since Interstate 45 travels through Conroe and leads into Houston’s business district, residents prefer living in this suburban neighborhood and commuting to work.
It’s no secret that the cost of living in Conroe is lower than Houston. The city is attractive to many renters because of the reasonable commute times, and it’s only a seven-mile drive to Lake Conroe, a popular outdoor recreational area.
There’s a lot going on in the city – you just have to know where to look. Locals enjoy exploring the Sam Houston National Forest, which covers 163,000 acres of land and is the perfect place for camping or a scenic hike. After a lovely dinner at Red Brick Tavern, locals look forward to a musical at the Crighton Theatre on North Main Street. The Heritage Museum of Montgomery County is a great place to go and learn about the city’s evolution through the decades – and it is right next to Candy Cane Park.
