Property Ratings at 3200 Capri Dr
Do not move here, the neighborhood is the only thing these building have going for them. Unfortunately, the management was non-existent and does not care nor answer to any emails or phone calls. The buildings are extremely poorly made! The first day I moved in, there was dust, cement fragments, and paint stuck to the new floors and countertops. Even though I was told this was a brand new apartment and I would be the first to move in, I still had to hire a cleaning service to clean up the mess from the contractors. The walls are paper thin, and the plumbing in the building is terrible. My apartment has flooded twice since I've been here. And what a nightmare that was! A foot of water in my living room, and management did not care about potential mold after the clean up. Renters BEWARE!
I am finally moving out after 2 years of being here and have experienced more positives than negatives overall. In the beginning when we moved in, construction was still going on and we felt like management was disorganized. Honestly we should not have been allowed to move into our place when we did, as things were still being completed and figured out. (Fire alarm & elevator issues) After about a year we have been given correct maintenance/landlord contacts who are much more responsive then before. As for Noise: The units can be noisy depending on what floor/building. Building B from experience was clean and we did not have issues with neighbors. (We liked to look at it as we are in an apartment and would deal with this anywhere) If you have issues with noise i would recommend the 4th floor because no one is above you. Parking: Each unit gets 1 parking spot with their designated number. Parking on the street is getting a bit harder to find due to units filling up and other residents in the neighborhood needing to park as well. Neighborhood: We picked this place for the area, due to its safety and great local spots. Also access to the stadium district is great and walkable. FDR park was also a close walk which we enjoyed. Overall We enjoyed our time here with a few hiccups.
1. Management is non existent: they give you the keys to the apartment and ghost you. Good luck getting help or anything repaired. 2. Trash all over the complex 3. POOP all over the complex because of dirty residents not cleaning up after there animals.
I’ve been living here FOR LESS THAN A WEEK and already have had my car towed for no reason, had maintenance come fix issues and been dealing with insane noice from neighbors because the walls are so thin. Management is absolutely awful, rude, unhelpful and unreasonable. The landlord is a ghost and hides behind the reality company. There are no websites associated with the property management, let alone any last names with any of the contact info that was handed to me on a little flyer. The construction is absolutely awful and sloppy with dried paint all over, electrical issues and so much more. All the other reviews are accurate. The neighborhood is the only thing this place has going for it and the reason I moved here but it is not worth it, believe me. RUN.
Worst management ever. Stay far away. Looks are deceiving.
This building has to be one of the worse place ever built. My experience since living here have been horrible and traumatizing. Do yourself a HUGE favor and believe all the bad reviews on here and don’t ever rent from here. The amount of noise I have to endure from the people on top of me should be illegal (tenets who don’t care about anyones’well-being). Everything about this building is cheap besides the rent. With the amount of rent everyone pay we should expect more. Management doesn’t seem to even exist because they will never respond to you. Your mental health matter! You deserve better. Please do not rent here.
We were excited to move here but it's not what it appears to be. Sub Par construction, Management is horrible, Parking is a whole other issue. I can't wait to move
Location and size is great but don’t let that fool you, the building construction is built very poorly. Luxury? Far from it… They shouldn’t label themselves luxury if we can hear upstairs tenets walking from room to room and feeling vibrations of people walking/stomping. You can hear all kind of movements above you (vacuuming, cooking, dropping of objects, door slamming, drillind, loud music…..the list goes on). Dogs are great, but you can hear dog barking and you can hear tenets dogs moving above you. And the grass around the buildings always have dog poop. Management will not respond back to you about any issues you have. Save your money and save yourself a headache. They don’t care about you, they just want your money. They won’t respond to you..but they will send you an friendly reminder that rent is due. You should definitely move in here if you want extra stress and if you want to hear other tenets movements on a daily! FYI- spend your money somewhere else. All the reviews are true.
All the reviews are correct. The property is only a year old but it was built terribly. It looks nice at first glance but thats about it. The amount times I've had maintenance come to fix something with all new appliances and a new building is insane. Don't get me start on the bug infestation from ants, fruit fries, swarms of flies and bees. There's no amenities even though when the other buildings were being built they said there would be a gym in one. No package room so everything is left outside or on benches. They also put your package in other buildings. The paint and construction is terrible and you see so many mistakes. The floor makes noise as you walk. And don't bother trying to get in touch with management or the landlord. She ignores you and changes her number every few months. The building doors are left open at times which is unsafe. And there's only two dumpsters bins for all 4 buildings and constantly overflows which brings a lot of bugs and animals especially in the summer. Just terrible all around. I've seen so many people move out even before their lease ended and people who ran out as soon as their lease came to and end. It's not worth the rent. Find somewhere else. These buildings won't last.
Terrible management. You can never get in contact with anyone yet they will tell you don’t use the water or someone is entering your home with a couple hours notice. Ceilings are paper thin. Electrical work and work within the apartment is terrible. Typical cookie cutter apartment with all the issues, don’t be fooled by the location and price. You don’t get what you pay for. The bathrooms are nice, so they have going for them.
I'm a third (current) tenant here agreeing with the first two posts - so many issues with these units, management barely responds to emails about your problems and there's usually a weekly email of "work" that needs to be done in your unit within 24 hours and while most work from home they don't make exceptions and will enter your home anyways. I'd highly suggest looking elsewhere and saving your money/time/energy with a different rental.
Agreed with the 2-star post. We are also current tenants and can add that construction is awful. You can hear neighbors walking above you. We had to call maintenance about 10x within the first 2 months. We will say that they are excellent, however the property manager is not. You will not hear from them for weeks! Unless it's a maintenance issue, good luck on getting any other sort of information. Other than that, it's a great location with parking both on property and street. Oh there is also NO GYM or amenities!
We are current tenants of this apartment complex and at first glance it looks so nice and luxury but it’s quality of construction is so poor. Location and neighborhood are perfect,it is also spacious but nothing more. Would not recommend
