Vernon Avenue. It is beautifully furnished contemporary craftsman style cottage that was originally built in 1924 and lovingly restored in 2009. A wide front porch with colorful rocking chairs surrounded by a cottage garden provides a happy welcome to a bright and airy two bedroom, two bath cottage. The back yard was landscaped in 2012 and boasts a large entertainment patio overlooking the hills of East Prescott. The dining and living room are complete with a fireplace, cable television, and DVD. Wireless internet is provided. The large kitchen contains a gas stove and convection oven, microwave, wine refrigerator, laundry room and butler serving area. The cottage sleeps 4 comfortably (one queen and one full size bed) outfitted with down comforters and pillows. The open floor plan is perfect for a couples get-a-way, business retreat, family vacations and entertaining. Only steps to Hiking in the Prescott National Forest, this home is walking distance from quaint shops, restaurants, and museums where history and charm abound! Start your morning with a hike up Thumb Butte or kayak on Watson and Goldwater Lakes; then stop for coffee and a morning treat at one of Prescott's charming coffee bars. Spend the day perusing antique shops, the Farmers market at Yavapai College and enjoy the regular entertainment and fairs at the Town Square.
