Property Ratings at 353 Crescent St
Landlord sent me this "Please be advised that due to high demand and unexpected expenses with the property, the monthly rent will increase from $XXX to $XXXX." A $200 increase, so expect more of that. Also, road noise from 4am to about 8pm is unbearable. The building is also near train tracks. There was not a single level board in the entire apartment. Parking was next to a cliff that has no guardrail, one mistake and you're crashing into the Millers River. Fire escape was often roped off which would be a hazard in an emergency. Two out of the six light switches in the unit did nothing. The back door opens into the apartment and when it's open you cannot access the refrigerator. Small and cheap appliances (refrigerator & stove). I spent the entire 14 months (Mon-Fri) listening to construction noise in the building. The shower floor was level so water never drained, it had to be squeegeed into the drain after every shower. Small, cheap, and slow coin operated washer and dryer in basement. Only access to the basement is to exit the building and enter through a door at the back of the building. This made doing laundry in the winter, or in any bad weather, unbearable. I could go on and on...
