Middletown-Pelham is a peaceful community off the shores of the Hutchinson River. The residential parts of the neighborhood are mostly situated between Hutchinson River Parkway and Interstate 95 and contain a variety of styles of apartments for rent. The New York City Children’s Center Bronx Campus and other medical facilities are situated to the west of River Parkway. Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Yeshiva University-Resnick Campus are located just outside of the western part of town as well. The opposite side of town, bordering the river, features large a large green space that is home to the Bronx Victory Memorial, several trails, dog parks, and Huntington Woods. New York City is just 15 miles south of the neighborhood and made accessible by train or one of the main thoroughfares.

Boogie Down

Quite neighborhood good for kids. The building could be better, hallways and grounds are often dirty. The super takes a long time to fix repairs. There's washer and dryers in the basment that are often out of order. As long as I've been here I've never meet building management; the presence is unknown. During winter months we've had issues with no heat or hot water. I wouldn't recommend living here.

Great building, awesome area, safe living.

The building is situated in a fantastic area. It's close to a major train station, multiple bus stops, both Elementary and Middle schools and grocery stores. It is right across from Pelham Bay Park, a wonderful park to walk your dog(s) in or perhaps have a picnic on a nice sunny day. The building itself has a laundry with multiple machines, it also pet friendly so you can bring your little, or big furry family members with you. Overall, it is a great building and the area is really safe, so those of you who enjoy a late night jogging need not to worry.
