Beneath a canopy of cherry blossoms, woven between national monuments and government buildings, Washington DC is a city full of excitement, surprises, and historic treasures. Washington DC’s breathtaking landmarks aren’t just for tourists. After finding your perfect apartment in the city, you’ll visit them more often than you think! Many are free, and they offer residents a one-of-a-kind backyard, including the Smithsonian, the National Museum of History, the Jefferson Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, the National Zoo, the National Mall, and so much more.
But historic monuments aren’t the only thing that make Washington DC so special. The incredible park-like atmosphere offers a stunning background.

Property Ratings at 35th Street Residences
I lived here for 3 yrs and recently moved out because of a job transfer, however I was sad to leave my apartment because I loved everything about it! This was my first place on my own and the management office made everything so easy, especially Jennifer who never misses a call or text and knows everyone by name and checks on you when she passes by. The location can’t be better. You can walk to everything, and there are rental bikes and scooters just a few blocks away. It’s a small building but everyone looked out for each other and did their part to keep the building clean and I always felt safe. I never had any issues and will definitely move back here if I get transferred back to DC.
I was one of the first few residents to move into this building after it was renovated and I loved it here and didn't want to leave (job transfer to CT). The management staff is great and Jennifer is the best! She is very responsive, keeps the residents informed of building updates, keeps us informed in the winter when we have snow storms, she even responds by text on her cell phone no matter what day or time of day and even when she is on vacation! I highly recommend this building because it is so close to everything, its the best neighborhood in DC and you're in good hands with this organization which is hard to find in rental buildings.
