This beautiful old home has been completely updated with refinished hardwood floors throughout and a remodeled kitchen. The large fenced backyard is perfect for a family picnic or BBQ, and history buffs will love exploring the home and neighborhood. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, and there is a grill with the property. This is an older historic house, with all the charm of an older home. There are no bathrooms upstairs, and several guests have mentioned that the stairs are a bit steep. The Old Town historic neighborhood is filled with beautifully maintained historic houses. The neighbors are super friendly, so don't be surprised if they wave and say hello as you are coming and going. The neighborhood was an old mill town, and the company built all of the homes virtually alike, so you will see the same design of house throughout the neighborhood. The neighborhood is next to a very large soccer complex that often hosts tournaments, making it a great place to stay if you're in town for a tournament. Enjoy a stroll along manicured sidewalks to enjoy the local amenities. We want to provide our guests with maximum privacy and flexibility, so we have check-in and check-out automated. The staircase is a little steeper than modern homes. The yard is also not entirely fenced in. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this.
