Property Ratings at 3705 Galloway Bozeman, LLC
We had been looking in the area for our daughter for a week or two and were having trouble finding something affordable and nice at the same time. We found this gem and are happy we did. Super accommodating to us and helpful with the process of paperwork and steps to be taken after the application was submitted.
Property management regularly fails to accomplish even the most basic of tasks. Good luck getting into contact with them when you need something. The only time you’ll ever be able to speak to anyone is when they want something from you.
They certainly looked "luxury" at first glance. But if you look a little closer, or live there for a while, you'll soon realize it's mostly a facade, and these apartments are really just slapped together with cheap, flimsy materials that will start falling apart after a few months. The paint chipped off the walls every time I touched it, the blinds on the windows (which were useless anyway) fell off if they were moved, the cabinets in the kitchen just came unglued and fell apart. The insulation was so bad, my front door froze shut every time it got below 20°F out. I had to keep a hair dryer next to the door in the winter. There was ice all over my carpet inside my balcony door when it snowed. The management will nickel and dime you for all of that. They used to be much nicer and more understanding and accessible, years ago, but it has gone downhill. They used half of my deposit on damages that were there when I moved in, that I noted clearly on the move-in paperwork. And they charged me for all their cheap stuff that fell apart, too. I couldn't do much about it, though, because they will never answer their phones. You'd have to go in in person to get someone to talk to you. And that's IF they're in the office, as I often stopped by for a question or request during business hours just to find a closed sign. Also - we moved here specifically because it was dog friendly, and we wanted a dog. If not for that, I would've gone somewhere cheaper. So, after a few months of settling in and saving up, we went to the office to pick up the paperwork to get a dog. They simply said that dogs were no longer allowed on our floor - a new rule change. We had been given no notice. Our rent stayed just as high. They wouldn't allow it, even though we moved in before the rule. Nor would they allow us to move to another floor without some absurd $1000 "transfer fee." So we were stuck in our expensive lease and scammed out of getting a dog. I don't have much nice to say, unfortunately. The maintenance people were awesome, and always friendly and on top of things. It's a good place to live if you're desperate. It's mostly quiet, though the stairs are built with metal so every step echoes through the breezeway. The facilities are nice, though I stopped using the hot tub after an issue with broken glass. The utilities are cheap and lots of things are covered for you, though the trash isn't picked up nearly enough and there's no recycling of any kind.

We take great pride in ensuring that all of our tenants are enjoying their stay at Sundance but from your review it sounds like your stay was unsatisfactory. We're sorry for your dissatisfaction. Unfortunately, rules have to be implemented or changed on a moments notice because there are people who aren't responsible pet owners. We are very pet-friendly and have many wonderful pets and pet owners in our community. Our transfer fee is $150. We hope that you have found accommodations more to your liking.
I have definitely lived in cheaper apartments that were nicer than this one. The floors are worse than paper thin- we can hear our neighbors flip their light switches! I have never lived in a place where you could hear every single conversation, which is especially disappointing as this is the most expensive apartment I have ever rented and thus I had better hopes. Unfortunately for dog owners, this is one of the better choices as Bozeman is not really a pet-friendly place in the rental department. However, the managers do try their best to make this a good place to live and they can't control how poorly the apartment was built. Overall, everyone is nice and we have enjoyed getting to know our neighbors. I would recommend this place if you are a dog owner. If you do not own a dog, then you probably have better options.
Very nice newer apartments in Bozeman, Montana. They are pet friendly which is really great since so few places in this area are and the rent is reasonable. The staff has been very kind and accommodating. We received a response to our application within a day, unlike other apartments which took up to a month to respond. These apartments are perfect for college students and small families due to the variety of floor plans and the pet policy. If you're looking for a nice apartment in a newer neighborhood at a low cost, this is a great place to live.
Recently moved into the Sundance Apartments at Baxter Meadows and are enjoying our nicely sized apartment in this complex. The space is laid out very logically for the best usage possible. We are fairly impressed with how well insulated our place is sound wise from the other apartments and this is something our neighbors say as well. The property managers are easy to work with and address any concerns in a timely manner. The price is a bit more than some other places in town but you get so much more for your money with this complex than most of the others. There is a large value placed on having a quite and peaceful living environment which is great for the young professional not wanting to be surrounded by partying college students.
The apartments are advertised as "luxury" apartments but upon moving in they did not meet those expectations. There are a lot of rules for tenants including the color your curtains from the outside. With such high expectations for tenants I expected that they would set the standard with the apartments. When I got my keys they wouldn't open the door because the lock never got switched from the maintenance lock and there was dirt all over the floor when I got in. No one had bothered to make sure that my apartment was ready for me to move in. The manager likes to make excuses. The only helpful person is the maintenance girl. The apartment is nice now that maintenance has been by to fix some of the problems. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom shower feels like a hotel. The construction company is behind schedule and no one can give any idea of when the hot tub or pool will be ready. The apartments are nice but management doesn't seem to stay on top of things.
The Sundance Apartments on Baxter have a beautiful open floor plan where there is plenty of natural light. The granite counter tops, AC, faux wood flooring provide a luxurious feel while still feeling comfy and "homey". The management has a pure demeanor and seems genuinely concerned when you express a complaint or problem with your apartment/neighbors. There is a lot of wide open space around the complex so you have the luxury of being slightly away from town but still have all the amentities. Town is just a 3 minute drive down the road where you have access to grocery stores and many retail stores. Although you are in apartment buildings, you hardly ever hear your neighbors due to the water lines runnng inbetween apartments. With all of that being said, these apartments are a little expensive for being what they are. When we moved in the apartments weren't quite finished, so there were a lot of construction workers in and out of our apartment, and though the prop. manager did keep us well posted on what was happening and when people would need access to our apartments, I feel like we should have gotten a discount on our rent until the apartments were done. Other than that we love our pet friendly, quiet apartment complex! They are a little spendy but it's worth it to have the amazing view of the sunset everyday and the peace and quiet of a rural area.
