Hello! I am looking for someone to take over my apartment lease at City Flats on 10th in Bloomington, IN. This would not be a rental or a subletting situation, the apartment would be all yours. This is a great opportunity to skip the waitlist if you're interested in the area! My current lease extends until the end of July 2025, but after that, you will be free to extend the lease if you wish to stay longer. I am very flexible on move-in date, so you can move in as soon as it’s convenient for you. You can move in tomorrow, if you want! Rent is $1,300 per month, plus $30 - $40 per month in utilities. City Flats on 10th will need to approve you as a tenant, which involves a standard background check. I have absolutely loved living here for the past three years, and I am only moving now due to a change in work. City Flats on 10th is a small, safe, quiet community. The back half of the apartment overlooks a small forest and is about 10ft off the ground, so it is safe, peaceful, and private. It also makes the screened-in porch a relaxing, bug-free place to read, work, have dinner, or enjoy some nature. The porch also has a light and an outlet. The apartment complex is also very pet-friendly! It allows dogs, cats, and fish. Free waste bags and trash cans are available for dog owners, as well as plenty of sidewalks and green space for walks and play. The entire area is also well-lit at night, so it's safe and easy to walk dogs at night. To add a pet to your lease, it is a one-time $200 deposit, plus $30 per month in pet rent. There are no breed restrictions. Amenities include an outdoor charcoal grill, free parking with plenty of spaces, and resident appreciation events. There is also an offsite gym, pool, and clubhouse/workspace with coffee and tea. There is also a bus stop right at the entrance to the neighborhood if you would like to use public transportation. Bloomington has a great bus system! The apartment also includes a washer and dryer. Additionally, the maintenance and office staff here are incredible. I have never had a maintenance issue that was not resolved within 24 hours, and maintenance has always been friendly and professional. I even had an emergency maintenance situation one evening after hours, and they came right away to help! The office staff is also friendly and helpful, and they reply pretty much immediately to emails and phone calls. Finally, the apartment is very conveniently located. It is just off the IU campus, so it's peaceful and quiet, but only a 5-minute walk to campus. It's a 10-minute drive or a 15 minute bus ride to downtown, as well. If you like nature, Brown County State Park, McCormick's Creek State Park, Yellowwood National Forest, Hoosier State Forest, and Griffey Lake Recreational Area are all within half an hour of the apartment. Griffey Lake is only 5 minutes away, and in addition to hiking, there is a lake with kayak and paddleboard rentals available. Feel free to check out City Flats on 10th at: h ttps://ww w. homeiscityflatstenth .com/ (please ignore the spaces in the url - I couldn't include the website without them) If you have any additional questions or would like to see pictures of my apartment, please reach out to me at katieegoebel@ gmail. com and I will get back to you asap! I am also happy to send you a video tour or schedule a time for you to come see the apartment in person. Please ignore the space between "@" and "gmail" in my email, as well.
