I lived here from 2014-2016 and found it to be a great value. The interior was well-maintained and cleaned, and maintenance was quick to respond to appliance problems. The neighbors tend to keep to themselves, and I had no problems with anyone there. The neighborhood had a lot of families and is close to a lot of stores and restaurants, so I really liked the area. I had lived in a rough apartment in town owned by the same company, and they helped me find this place when I asked to leave. To be sure, there are nicer places in town, but this is a great apartment in a nice location for the price. I would recommend giving them a look.
I lived there from Aug 2013 and moved out 2 months before my year lease was up. My apartment was robbed and the only one at that in the whole complex. I was the only white person in my building, so I certainly stood out, naturally. All my stuff was taken and conveniently, " no one saw anything". My door just got a new dead bolt put it and the person(s) that robbed it had to have busted down the door and it would have been very loud.. but again, no one heard anything!??? My apartment was robbed between the hours of 7am and noon. This is very odd! I did not feel safe there anymore and immediately wanted to move. I was distraught. Management did not want to give me back my deposit, even though the apartment was immaculate. I scrubbed the refrigerator, freezer, bath tub and all! No deposit back. The apartment itself was very nice and spacious. I do miss that aspect of it. Note: I also spoke with a police officer after I had moved in and he told me that there were far better and safer places to live. He said next time I move somewhere I need to do my "homework" and find out the best places. He suggested even calling the local police station and get their input.
