Its western border, Middleground Road, leads south to Armstrong State University. Savannah State University is also nearby -- just six miles northeast. Leeds Gate-Colonial Village is a perfect location for shopping -- Oglethorpe Mall is adjacent to the neighborhood on its northeast side, and Savannah Mall is to the southwest.
