About This Property
About the house: This is a cozy and warm 1 bedroom house for rent, on a quiet street conveniently located only 2 blocks away from the St. Paul Street exit of 104. You get the entire house, yard, and driveway to yourself. The kitchen, dining area, living room, and front entrance area are on the 1st floor; the bedroom and bathroom are on the 2nd floor. There is a back entrance that opens into the kitchen. The kitchen has lots of cupboards & drawers. The bedroom has a skylight. In January 2025 new carpeting was installed in the bedroom & on the stairs, new linoleum was installed onto the kitchen floor, and new tile was installed onto the bathroom floor. Last year the inside and outside water service lines were both replaced with new polyethylene, so the water pressure is excellent. There is a small locking storage shed for storing a shovel, rake, lawnmower, string trimmer, etc. The driveway fits 1 vehicle, and there is also plenty of street parking (the good kind which does not alternate). All pics were taken within the last few days except for the one of the exterior, because of the snow. Available: Now Terms: 1 year Lease, $1300/month, 1 month security deposit, discount available for early payment Pets: Pets are not permitted. Utilities: Tenant pays for all utilities except for trash and sewer. Smoking: Smoking of any kind is not permitted on the premises. Additional responsibilities: When compared to renting an apartment, renting a whole house comes with a few additional responsibilities. The biggest difference is that the tenant maintains the exterior, including mowing the lawn and shoveling snow. What I am looking for in a tenant: I'm looking for a tenant who is reliable, fulfills their obligations without needing to be reminded or checked up on, is self-sufficient, can handle routine household maintenance independently, who takes pride in their upkeep, who owns their mistakes and learns from them, who does more in life than just the bare minimum, and whose credentials suggest that they are low risk. With the right attitude, less than perfect credit can be okay. Rental process: 1. Text me with any questions, and to arrange a phonecall once interested. fiveEIGHT5 4sixNINE three7oneTHREE (this site uses a relay so 5610 no. does not support texts - this is my direct no.). 2. We will talk, I will answer any initial questions you have, and we will see if we are a good fit. 3. If we seem to be a good fit, we will plan a time for you to come and see the house in-person. 4. After seeing the place in person, if you are still interested I will have you do the background & credit screening. 5. As long as there are no surprises on the screening, the place is yours.
