The horizon is defined as the point at which the earth meets the sky. From the penthouse on down, that translates to a daily and nightly front row seat to the magnificent panorama of Lake Michigan, Montrose Harbor or the rolling fairways and greens of the Waveland Golf Course. You'll be in heaven. Continue on into the lobby of this contemporary high rise and into your new place, where stylish living means maple wood floors, large carpeted bedrooms with generous closets, crisp white-tiled bathrooms and the list goes on. Many of the rental homes come with a balcony and all will be a welcome site for your pet. 4100 North Marine Drive is about as close as it gets to living on the horizon. No wonder it's called Lakeview.

Uptown is where renters choose to live if they love entertainment. Throughout the neighborhood you’ll find everything from walking tours highlighting the hangouts of Chicago gangsters to the city's hottest nightclubs and theaters to the best shops and restaurants around. Uptown Chicago stretches along Lake Michigan and includes the popular summer hotspot Montrose Beach. For those moving to Chicago with a pet, Montrose Dog Beach is also a very popular destination. In winter, Cricket Hill is one of the city's favorite sledding spots.
What is it like to live in Uptown? It’s historic, walkable, and distinctive. Uptown is home to some fantastic landmarks, such as Aragon Ballroom. The ballroom opened in 1926, and legends about secret tunnels and Al Capone abound. During the Big Band era, the ballroom hosted some of the biggest names in music, including Glenn Miller, Lawrence Welk, Guy Lombardo, Benny Goodman, and Duke Ellington.

Property Ratings at 4100 N. Marine Dr.
Unless you like camping, look elsewhere. Water leaks from roof when it rains, or burst water pipes in kitchen ceiling. big one, not the little trickle. elevators constantly out of orders. commons are meh, except on first floor to show new prospects.Garage is a stock yard for broken appliances and else, when sewage pipes do not need flushing. you 'd better drive a mini to park, because otherwise you will not be able to. now have a prayer and a sense of humor for management, because they need your support. and maintenance, well ... they need professional help.
i loved my apartment ,it has a very big balcony which is good for my dog large living space, tons of closets
My experience with BJB started out ok, but ended up being a nightmare. Over the course of months, I had to place dozens of tickets for fixes around the place (as maintenance would regularly do poor work), I went without hot water in my kitchen for months, I went without a toilet that would work without having to flush it 3-4 times for months, I had a front door that would not lock regularly, screen doors that would nearly blow off the balcony, obnoxious neighbors that would make noise until 11-12 at night regularly without proper recompense from management - and more. Management was not proactive in getting things handled (obviously) as they would not be addressed with a sense of urgency, or not be addressed at all. Do to all of the above I moved out a month early, with proper notice given; I even offered to help show the place and help them re-rent it. That all being said, they failed to re-rent due to poor management of the effort (big surprise) and are now coming after me for that last month’s rent... They KNOW they are in the wrong here, it is clearly documented over the course of months and they have been notified of this; but yet they still persist to come after me, rather than just let me walk away? Now I am involving a lawyer and will fight this all the way through. BJB will not be getting a single CENT from me. It has been a nightmare and wholeheartedly DO NOT recommend living at a BJB property given that you commit to the property management company as much as you do the unit/neighborhood. Don't say you haven't been warned!
4100 N Marine has one of the best views in the city of Chicago. It over looks Lake Michigan and other parts of the city. It has a roof top terrace where you are able to enjoy the weather and view with friends. The rooms are spacious and relaxing. I would definitely recommend renting from this building!
