Where Uptown makes a splash with its hip restaurants, cool hangouts, trendy boutiques, and walkability and Highland Park exudes wealth and quiet sophistication, there's a Dallas neighborhood that strikes the perfect balance between the two: Oak Lawn. This fun-loving neighborhood is best known for its events, in particular its annual Halloween party and its Pride Parade. Cedar Springs Road is lined with shops, restaurants, and nightclubs and the beautiful Turtle Creek provides a tree-filled path for walking and jogging.
You'll find a wide variety of housing in Oak Lawn, from high-rise apartments and condos to luxury townhomes and charming duplexes -- some in renovated historic mansions. And while Oak Lawn is separated from Uptown by Turtle Creek, many Oak Lawn residents still claim parts of Uptown as their own.

Property Ratings at 4123 Cedar Springs
Management is terrible, trash is always piled up by the garbage chutes and dumpsters, the hot tub is leaking and they fill it up with a hose every day, roaches all over the halls, just to name a few things.
Office staffs are very helpful. They always ready to help. Clean interiors. Peaceful environment. No safety concerns. I love the pool side area and gym facility.
t’s been questionable not good homeless people sleeping in hallways…. This needs to get taken care of or people start to break there lease . It’s very unsafe
The staff at 4123 are great!!! They have gone above and beyond to help my husband and I. My husband has health issues and has not been able to work. Going from 2 incomes to one has been difficult. 4123 staff gone out of their way to help accommodate us during this difficult times we’re going through. There are some repairs needed here and hopefully the owner will come through. Thank you staff of 4123. Thanks 4123
My apartment tour was great but the living conditions around the complex are sketchy. A few outside gates don’t lock, there’s human pee in the stairwells and the property halls are in poor condition and look outdated. The parking garage is also constantly littered with trash. This building has really lost its luster.
Great place great location great management they’re always available to answer all questions and if something Needed to be fixed Same day or within 24 hours keep up with the great job guys I’ll give it 10 from 10.
The building doesn't seem to take care of general maintenance on an regular schedule. The pedestrian entrance on knight street rarely ever works, even if you know the combination. To door the building after that gate only closes half the time, leaving the building unsecured. The pedestrian gate on Douglas avenue doesn't even have a latch, so anyone can open the gate. One of the doors form the garage to the building on the second floor don't close completely, so there is no security there. There are always lights out in the hallways. It's like the staff doesn't do a weekly or regular check of the security of their building. There is always a way to get inside without any resident's help or permission. But the staff is generally friendly and the hallways mostly clean.
All the staff is very friendly. I love the neighborhood with so many great restaurants within walking distance. I look forward to living here.
Excellent interiors, decent community spaces, maintenance is a slow to get things done - but they get it done. Staff is generally responsive.
The management staff is personable and friendly. They will work with you to the extent that you work with them. The only con I feel worth bringing up isn’t even the staffs fault. It appears as though the larger corporation is neglecting to fund the complex or provide administrative assistance. I’ve noticed a severe drop in the quality of maintenance around the property and they are short staffed which causes issues.
Sad part to me is that this complex has potential but several upgrades need to be made and communication with the office needs to improve. It’s just been so many issues
So far the the staff has been great, I love my unit, and I can not hear anyone around me. The only complaint I would have is that the hallway could be a little more fresher (especially on the weekend)
Management here is great. I know things take time and money, but I wish things like the jacuzzi, clean hallways and gym equipment could be repaired and working.

I love residing at 4123 Cedar Springs and I am delighted to share my positive experience. During my time here, I have witnessed the dedicated efforts of the Foresight staff at 4123 Cedar Springs in enhancing the property. Their hard work has truly made a remarkable difference.
The last year and a half have been challenging to say the least. I will say that slowly the management have made some progress at least on the big issues, like homeless, no elevators working, gates and security. That has greatly improved after months. The problem really now is just the cleanliness of the complex. The stairwells still smell of dog urine , the hallways need to be cleaned and likely paint and new floors would help greatly. Then just repairs to damage walls, doors etc….. it does seem like they are trying but the process is just taking so long. Hopefully they’ll continue to try to upgrade the property. Until then I can only give it 3 stars.
This are slowly progressing. I just think the complex needs a huge upgrade. The trash needs to be updated. The office staff has got a lot better but communication can sometimes still lack
Multiple cars were broken into because management did not fix the garage gates for multiple months. The management is getting better from where it was a year ago but still a long way to go
Excellent community and value! Centrally located on Cedar Springs. Great pool and staff! Mauricio and Mr. Banks are so easy to work with and professional.
Love the space. Centrally located in the gayborhood and right across the street from Kroger and connected to a lot of solid restaurants. Covered parking garages are a game changer in the summer and when the weather is bad.
Lived here for 3 years! Loved it! Definitely love the convenience of having a Kroger across the street and my bank next door. This new property management has done an amazing job!
I have lived here for two years. The new management is trying hard to get things back on track! The new events are fun and different every couple of weeks. They do a great job of connecting with the residents.
Apartment is in the perfect area....Near the bars, and places to eat. The elevators have mood swings but you get use to it. I love the view in my place.
I love living here Very excellent property and staff Love how the staff is really connected to the property and interact with us as much as they can
I love love living here at 4123 cedar springs. The management is very nice and they communicate very well. I love the building and the atmosphere of this residence. Im in love with our nice gym and all the accommodations. As well as the events that the apartments throw for us as residents. I will continue to renew my lease here at 4123 Cedar Springs.
I’m so happy I chose this place. Unit was clean, spacious enough for a man and his dog. Unit is on the back so not as noisy as the front which faces Cedar Springs Rd. Love being so close to Kroger and all the other restaurants and shopping, plus the bars a block away.
It would be nice to have an updated gym, the property needs to become way more clean, need more/better parking options for visitors. Would be nice to be able to utilize the hot tub and grills that work properly.
Excellent staff, centrally located near retail, grocery, library and entertainment within walking distance. I feel very safe here & call it home.
Love it here ! So close to everything and for a great price too. I don’t plan on moving elsewhere anytime soon. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone moving to the city
Staff is friendly, but maintenance is slow, amenities are constantly out of order, and cleanliness could be better. Good location though, wish they'd take better care of everything else.
Love it here! I really enjoy the way the complex is taken care of and I love the location I’m currently at. Super clean and excited for pool season
On my move in date when I walked in my new apartment it was a mess. It was obviously never cleaned after the previous tenant moved out. I had to put my moving date off till the next day. I will say when confronted the property manager did do his best to accommodate and compensate me for my inconvenience
I like the location a lot and how it's central in the gayborhood. Love the walkability of the area. Only issue is that the elevators occasionally don't work which be very inconvenient. Especially if you need the loading dock to move in or if you're disabled.
My experience was definitely memorable. Moved from Alabama to a city where I knew no one. Monette made sure I was taken care of with my move in. My apt is everything I wanted. Def a place I call home.
Sorry to write this but, it is what it is… This place is fallen in pieces, new administration really sucks (they ask residents for a positive review, but if they want a positive one they better work on it), more than 5 months with elevators not working, trash everywhere and even you can find rats on the hallways. Gates and doors open to the public, making easy to have homeless walking/living inside the building. No power in certain areas very frequently. Every day something new is broken/not working. Sorry to say this but I don’t feel my rent worth it the place right now. If you plan to move here, don’t judge the book by the cover, ask some residents.
While there’s been some improvements after 6 months of the new management company taking over it’s still just not enough. Trash pickup is better, homeless people roaming and sleeping on property is better but I still don’t really feel safe here. No elevators in the building worked for several weeks but now one has for at 3 weeks now. Doors and gates that you need key phobs for still are broken, so anyone can get into the property. We have security I think now but they’re not very visual. Security setting in unmarked cars really does nothing. They need to be in marked cars and also walking the property so residents know they are here and available if needed and also to help with crime. If security is seen on the property that will I think help cut down on alot of the issues at this property. The management company has to actually invest in the property to make the improvements. Six months is way too long for these issues to be resolved.
I love my apartment! It’s beautiful and quiet with so many amenities! The people here are all so nice too. Everyone is always friendly and kind.
So many problems with the building. Inconsistent upkeep of property. Maintenance takes months to respond and only if you hound the property managers and even then nothing gets fixed because they don’t have the parts. Previous company did MUCH better. This place was good when I first moved here but it has gone down the drain. There are better places at equitable pricing in the area.
I will say the property I love but managed can be better. I still have issues that have not been resolved. If that could be done I would give them a full 5 stars and if there communication was better
Security is a big issue here. Elevator have been broken for months to almost a year. The management doesn’t maintain the property and the place is falling apart. There were homeless sleeping in the parking garage multiple times. Until they fix both gates that will be a big issue. I have been here for three years and this last year has truly been a struggle.
Maintenance requests take too long. Gates never work. No one ever answers the phone. Hallways are dirty elevators dont work Homeless everywhere no security.
I love my apartment for the past 3 years, but outside of my apartment door I s another story. It’s actually quite embarrassing having guest over when parking garage gates don’t work, call box doesn’t work, elevators are down, trash piled up in hallways, dirty hallways, pool dirty, and so many other upkeep issues. I Can no longer justify paying the amount of rent for the issues that come along with it. Location is awesome though
This place is falling apart. Management seems to incompetent. Cleaning is not happening regularly and the residents are generally annoyed by the constant broken parking arms, gates, and elevators.
