About This Property
Wallingford / U District (Kinda Near Green Lake) (December / January / Feb Move in) Prime Commuting Location Furnished House with Stellar Roomies and a Mount Rainier / City Skyline View Do you like bland houses? If yes, keep looking. If no, give this post a gander and consider living here ?? We are looking for someone who’s down to keep the bathrooms and the kitchens clean, are friendly and respectful of noise unless having a weekend shindig or something of course Are you wanting super easy commute via nearby public transport (bus stops and the link)? Do you want to be right next to the I-5 on/off ramp for seamless commuting north and south? Do you want a picture perfect view of the largest volcano in North America (Mt Rainier) right out your large living room window? Do you want off street parking? Do you want a fully furnished living space with nice furniture and remodeled kitchens with stunning stainless steel appliances? Do you want a decent skyline view from the kitchen/dining/living room? If yes, Drop a message! My inst a gram is @jakobpyburn as well Also there is a loft (not pictured) with heaps of storage space on the top of the house. For the last year it’s been more used as a cool hangout spot but basically have no worry because if you come with ski gear or mountain gear you’ll have plenty of storage. Actually though, this house is a pretty wicked deal for someone new to Seattle, attending UW or is just looking to be in a better downtown location (Wallingford / U district off I-5) that’s not too pricey, looks nice and is a comfortable space to come home to. - Room about 9ft x 9ft all the same size - For now, only open to cats unless someone has a cat allergy then no cats - Small pets (hamster, hermit crab etc) are fine of course - House is furnished but if you have a beloved furnishing you want to add to the castle that can easily be arranged - As more join the squad I’ll facilitate touring them and getting them in touch with you and sharing their socials with you so you can give me your thoughts on em - Lmk if I’m missing any details! We are looking for people who keep the sink relatively dish free, bathrooms clean, shoes off at the door, and common areas looking presentable and clean. Cleanliness is the biggest priority next to vibes when it comes to house mates If this living situation resonated with you drop me a message and we’ll get set up with an interview and house tour and see if you’re right for the house. Feel free to message to my insta shared above. Cheers, Jake

Wallingford extends from Green Lake south to Lake Union. Located between Aurora Avenue and I-5, Wallingford is directly west of the University of Washington. The southern tip of the neighborhood consists of Gas Works Park, a historic park with incredible views of the mountains and a kite-flying hill. The park was once home to the Seattle Gas Light Company gasification plant, built in 1906. Meridian Park, another popular Wallingford destination, is home to the historic Good Shepherd Center, also built in 1906.
Considered one of Seattle's trendier neighborhoods, Wallingford offers a terrific blend of historic and modern. Places like the Wallingford Center manage to combine both -- hip, trendy shops and restaurants in a historic building that once served as a school and is now a mixed-use development. Closer to the university, residents can visit the Burke Museum, the Henry Art Gallery, and the Neptune Theatre.
