Property Ratings at 42-22 Crescent St
I had a terrible experience living in this building. 1. There is no proper management. When you move in, all you get is a phone number of a "building management company" whose information is nowhere to be found online. They are not responsive to complaints and don't do anything to actually maintain the building. 2. The windows are poorly sealed. Wind leaks through windows in the winter - yes, it's possible that windows are not windproof. Thus, you'll find yourself with a thick blanket or puffer INSIDE THE APARTMENT, meanwhile having to pay $400+ Coned bill because the windows don't contain the heat. 3. Poor ventilation. Whenever anyone is cooking or smoking, your apartment will smell exactly like that. 4. Package theft. There have been many incidences of package theft where thieves come through the package drop area and steal all the packages. The hot pot restaurant only makes it worse - they constantly keep the building doors open when they use the basement as storage. If you really really have to live here you are better off sending all your packages to another address.
