You'll love this upper two bedroom located close to both of Appleton's hospitals (St. Elizabeths and Appleton Medical Center), and just a few blocks from downtown. The upper was just remodeled with new flooring, paint, modern furnishings including red leather couches, a new dishwasher, and local black and white canvases showcasing the beauty of the area adorning the walls. Private washer and dryer in lower entryway for just this unit and mud room. Large porch to sit out and enjoy the outdoors in the warmer months. Plenty of off street parking. Yes we accept pets in many cases (ask). Yes to short term and flexible leases, as well as government cards, and working with your insurance. Both bedrooms are appointed with Queen bedroom sets. The master is large with an office area included and the second is small by comparison. Master also has a walk in closet. Bathroom has tub/shower combo. Steps are one story in an older brick building so they are somewhat steep.

Appleton is a charming, green city located about 30 miles southwest of Green Bay. It straddles the Fox River at the north end of Lake Winnebago. In addition to a rolling, lush landscape with mature trees and river views, Appleton is a college town -- home to Lawrence University, a private liberal arts college founded in 1847. You'll find plenty of student traffic on College Avenue, which houses Lawrence University. However, more students live nearer to the University of Wisconsin in Menasha, to the south of Appleton city limits. While looking for apartments in Appleton, be aware that this large city spans three counties: Winnebago County, Outgamie County, and Calumet County.
You might be surprised to learn that Magician Harry Houdini lived in Appleton for a while as a youth.
