Honestly, really happy with the apartment so far and how clean and organized everything was when moving in. Loved how easy the move-in process was, especially! Would like it better if Amazon used the lockers more rather than leaving packages at the door sometimes.

Maintence is always a 10/10. They respond so quickly and are so helpful. Office staff is very helpful when answering questions about the apartment and lease. Wish there were better amenities. Pool area got new seats but no covers to hide from the sun. Soda and coffee machine is gone from the study room and it doesn’t feel as cozy as it used too.

The staff displayed poor customer service and conflict resolution skills when I had an issue with my mailing. Ultimately making it feel like talking to an automated system where they were more concerned with deflecting blame rather than helping me address my issues. While the house itself was decent, the paint job is subpar, with white paint visible along the edges of the hardware. Overall, the place was not terrible, but it did not stand out compared to other residences I have lived in.
So far a very pleasant experience my roommates as well as the staff are very kind and it’s very peaceful and quite here, the amenities are amazing and honestly a really good experience
Staff is very kind and my apartment is great. When my roommate need repair, maintenance came pretty fast. The amenities work well too. Overall, a nice play to live.

More expensive but less things for the community like the coffee and soda machines. The study area doesn’t feel like a comfortable area to actually study. Too many people smoking in property. Money spent on an outdoor siting area when there’s a pool hammock garden and we live in Florida. Now a common area sits right in view of the apartments. Landscaping of the trees is needed. Absurd to be made to pay parking for where you live when you’re under capacity.

This place is somewhat expensive, it is the same price as others on the street that have nicer appliances and parking garages available. However, I love the staff and space of the apartment.

Terribly Leasing issues I’ve been Trying to get my leasing issues fixed For two months now and have not received what I was promised or what I was signing up for I haven’t even moved in yet and My rent has changed three times Tons of leasing issues as well with my roommates. Don’t recommend living here unless you have loads of money to throw away.

42 North has been a good place to live this past year as a college student! They have good amenities and the staff is very friendly. Maintenance requests get fulfilled fast, sometimes hours after I submit one. They host fun events every month or so, and they care about their residents. My critiques are that the apartment unit is old and it was very dirty when we moved in, so we had to spend a few weeks deep cleaning everything. I wish they would spend some money on fixing the inside of the units instead of their outdoor spaces. But after we cleaned, it’s been pretty easy to upkeep our space. Overall I think 42 North is one of the better apartment complexes near campus compared to my friends who live in other complexes.

My only frustrations living here are the frequent outages of wifi and parking situations. It’s seems like it gets worse every semester. Regardless, everything else is fine like the amenities and rooms themselves are nice.

Don't waste your money living in this old and disgusting apartment. Pay a little bit more to live a better life. They love to make extra money by charging you for whatever they can. They charged me for a trash that their employees left in front of my room. Seriously, they make money that way by leaving trash outside, taking a photo, and charging everyone in the unit, so they make $100 ($25 for each) each time they do this. It's that easy guys! During move-out, they also charged me for the stuff that my roommates left behind and the manager didn't care!

I genuinely wondered how hard it would be to fake my death to get out of this lease. The staff here doesn’t care about the tenants, and tries to tell you it’s your responsibility for things they should be doing. (Contacting the trash company, fixing repairs, dealing with other residents violating policies). The grounds are covered in trash and the buildings have a pest problem. Also, don’t feel pressured into signing early because of the “waiver activity fee.” It’s always waived, no one I know has ever paid it. It might be fun to live here if you’re the sort of person who enjoys partying instead of studying, but if you’re a student who wants to do well, you’ll find yourself seeking out other places to do work.

There is constant noise from neighbors, the pool, etc. and 42north does NOTHING about it. Oh and every weekend someone targets our apartment (we live on the 3rd floor) and terrifies us by ringing the doorbell 20 times at 3am. This place is a nightmare. Choose anywhere else--at the very least, you'll feel safe.

I was helping a friend move in at this place. The office people were so useless. The guy at the reception would not even acknowledge your presence, let alone greet you. He would not attend you and keep you waiting while he does something on his computer. The Manager behaves like he is some other planet and we are all beneath him. Very disrespectful people. Not sure about their apartments.
This place is absolute garbage. The management is terrible. I had many staff members tell me “not my problem” when i came in with issues. And they also charge you for ridiculous things. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
I am a current resident. First off the apartment is dirty and old. If you value your privacy and personal belongings do not live here. I am in a 3 bedroom unit and my roommate in bedroom C had an extra person living in her bedroom which is against the lease because it is only supposed to be one person per bedroom. I complained to management and they did not do anything. Now the resident in bedroom B subleased her room to the extra person who was living in bedroom C, but the original person in bedroom B is still there as well. And now they are currently doing so called upgrades to the apartment and are painting the bedroom and bathroom doors. And the painters leave not only the front door unlocked when they leave they also, leave your personal bedroom door unlocked and wide open to let the paint "dry". So if your gone all day for school and work anybody from your roommates and strangers can walk in and do whatever they want in your bedroom. Privacy and the safety of your belongings are of no value to 42 north. What apartment complex paints and makes so called upgrades to your bedroom after residents have moved in. And the rooms are cream colored and they are painting the bathroom and bedroom doors white. This is the most unprofessional student apartment I have ever lived in.
This place is the most unorganized complex around the USF area. The maintenance is never on time, always inconsistent, and not respectful. The apartment complex overall very dirty, dark and gloomy and nothing like the show room they advertise. The manager of the complex is very disrespectful and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to live.
