Spacious primary bedroom includes private river-view balcony/deck and large wood walk-in closet. The adjacent bathroom has been updated with new walk-in shower. Upstairs includes an office/storage nook off the hallway and 2 additional bedrooms and baths. Guest bedroom is located downstairs with a vibrant traditional bathroom. The yard is unfenced, with room to relax and a raspberry patch for summer enjoyment. Please note there is a separately rented ADU next door. The ADU has its own driveway and is completely separate from the main house. There is currently a long term tenant living there. The main house and ADU have a small exterior common space in the backyard to allow for shared access to the river path. Square footage for the home is estimated. Lease Term: One Year Pet Policy: Up to 2 pets (2 dogs or 1 cat, please) may be allowed, but must be approved by Owner/Agent on a case-by-case basis. There is an additional pet deposit of $750 and pet rent of $25/month for each approved pet. Utilities: Tenants are responsible for power and internet/cable if desired. Owner/Agent responsible for water/sewer and refuse service. Laundry: Home includes washer and dryer hookups. Landscaping: Tenant is responsible for landscaping and exterior care. Smoking: This is a non-smoking/non-vaping home and these activities are not allowed on the property. We rent on a first-come, first-serve basis to the first approved applicant/applicant group to complete their application process. Applications include credit/background/eviction history screening. The nonrefundable screening fee is $40 per adult applicant. Applicants are expected to take financial responsibility for the home within 5 days of being approved to rent. We may consider brief, reasonable requests to begin the rental agreement later.

Separated from Eugene and the University of Oregon by the Willamette River and I-5, Springfield is a terrific city with wooded neighborhoods, mountain views, amazing outdoor adventures -- and yes, it is that Springfield. Matt Groening is an Oregon native, after all, and he based his fictional town of "Springfield" in the animated Simpsons series after Springfield, Oregon. The city even offers an unofficial Simpsons tour of Springfield, and some of the similarities are uncanny. For example, there really is a stylized horse statue at the entrance to the city, and Max's Tavern is claimed to have inspired the show's Moe's Tavern -- it is eerily similar. Max's opened in 1932, and it is rumored that Groening spent his college years in the tavern, sketching.
And while you won't be able to head out of your Springfield apartment to enjoy a Duff's beer, you will find a Moe's Tavern, and the city is known for its craft beer. It is also known for its outdoor adventures.
