It's the perfect NYC home away from home. This one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment is on the second floor of a two-apartment walk-up. Enter into the open concept living room. Fall into the plush sofa, which doubles as a sleeper, enjoy a record from the collection, or tackle some work-from-home at the desk or dining table. A full kitchen with a dishwasher is perfect for cooking a gourmet meal or reheating takeout, whatever your fancy. Take a bath or a shower in the classic, marbled bathroom, and unwind in the soothing bedroom, which features a memory foam mattress, luxury linens, and a selection of pillows. Off the bedroom, you'll find a walk-in closet with a full-size, vented washer and dryer. Step outside for the real treat, a private, spacious deck with an outdoor dining room and two plush loungers, an ideal place to unwind at the end of the day. The property is pet-friendly and only allows dogs. There is a non-refundable pet fee for each dog to cover additional wear and tear and cleaning. If you bring a pet without notifying us or in violation of this policy, you may be subject to a penalty, in addition to the applicable pet fees. Take a stroll around Greenwich Village and appreciate the rich history of the neighborhood. The epicenter of counter-culture and the queer-rights movement in the 1960s, the neighborhood now houses some of the most storied and elegant studios and townhouses in the city. Just a few blocks from NYU and Washington Square Park, Greenwich Village may not be as bohemian as it was in its beatnik heyday, but it's still home to some of the city's best jazz clubs, bars, restaurants, and delis. “The Village”, as it is fondly dubbed, has a wonderfully laid-back feel as well as being one of the most photogenic parts of the city. It is very easy to explore the city from this apartment. There are many places to explore within a short walk of the apartment. There is also easy access to the subway, PATH, and CitiBikes. If you need a ride, taxis and ride shares are readily available. This apartment is available for stays of 30 days or longer. Make sure your guest count is accurate and includes all people and pets, both should be listed as adults. No additional guests or pets are allowed unless previously approved. The nightly rate varies based on occupancy, and a supplemental fee is charged for each guest to cover additional services, amenities, linens, utilities, and wear and tear. If you bring more guests than are listed on your reservation, you agree to pay double the applicable guest fee, and if your group is disruptive, your group may be asked to leave the property and forfeit the remainder of your reservation without a refund. No parties or gatherings with outside guests are allowed within the home or on the premises unless previously approved in writing. If approved, events may incur additional fees, including additional guest fees and/or cleaning fees. The property is smoke-free, and a $500 smoke remediation fee will be assessed if you or any members of your group violate this policy. Early check-in or late check-out may be available for an additional charge. If you do not vacate by the check-out time, you will be billed for a late departure fee of up to $50 per hour. We may also remove all occupants and their personal property from the property at your expense. Located between Chelsea and Soho, Greenwich Village is a beloved Manhattan neighborhood famously recognized as the center of the 1960’s counterculture movement. Greenwich Village, also referred to as simply “the Village,” has never lost its artistic vibe and bohemian feel. As New York’s central artistic hub, and one of the city’s most densely populated neighborhoods, Greenwich Village offers a tight-knit community with a vast array of people and personalities.
Opportunities abound for both students and professionals in Greenwich Village. The Village proudly flaunts the famous New York University, one of the largest and most well-known private universities in the country. Both selective and diverse, NYU lends an intellectual vibe to the community, attracting students, faculty, and staff from all over the world. Renters in Greenwich Village enjoy proximity to other staple landmarks, such as the Washington Square Arch.
