Property Ratings at 444 W. St. James Pl.
This is nearly the 10th building I have lived in in Chicago and the location cannot be beat, right in the middle of everything that makes Lincoln Park great. The apartment is spacious and has great views and despite it being nicely renovated, it still has the old charm that makes it lovely. But maintenance is lacking hardcore. I complained three times about my shower not draining properly and though maintenance claimed to have fixed it, the problem has persisted and has since been ignored by management. While I love the building, I am sad I have signed a year lease because having to take uncomfortable showers is not worth it to me.
