Property Ratings at 450 on Keeneland
Every thing that needs attention requires strong arming the landlord to get done. Something as simple has getting piles of dog waste picked up has required the health department to be contacted. Even simple repairs require calling and emailing every day for someone to help.
I have lived here for a couple years and couldn't count how many times management has changed. One thing, however, remains consistent: the quality of life here is LOW. Maintenance is practically non-existent. (I haven't even seen a maintenance crew since the last turnover.) With each new property manager, we get a letter on our door asking for all work orders to be resubmitted AND a request for "glowing reviews" of the apartments online (yeah right). Nothing has changed. On the plus side, I've learned to do my own home repairs and handywork, with loose electrical outlets, leaky toilets, and more! I would NOT recommend this apartment complex.
MY AC HAS BEEN OUT FOR 3 DAYS!!!! NO ONE IN MAINTENANCE SEEMS TO CARE. EVERYTIME I CALL THEY SAY THEY HAVE SUB-CONTRACTED THE ISSUE BUT THAT DOES NOT SEEM TO BE THE CASE!!!!!!
This complex is the absolute worst. Lived here since January and it is a train wreck. Water pouring in the back door when it rains, not to mention nothing was painted when I moved in. The old maintenance and cleaning crew were almost non-existent. Black mold will be growing in the walls soon. Thinking about calling the housing authority.
We just recently moved due to my husband’s job but we lived here for a year. The office staff is very kind and willing to help. They’ve gone through staff transitions, and are handling the issues from previous manager to the best of their ability. Maintenance is always on call. The pool is a great asset for the summer and the new playground will be awesome for families with littles.
Since day one we have nothing but issues, maintenance is non existent, upon move in day leasing office was closed and we had movers on their way finally someone showed up just to find out door was unlocked anyway, lease wasn’t even ready for four days after we moved in, no window coverings, toilet seat wasn’t even attached to toilet, wouldn’t fix it so I went out and bought one myself, avoid this place at all cost, slum lords, been living here a week and already looking elsewhere
When you go to view the property they take you to the “model” unit and it is NOTHING like the actual units. When I moved into my unit they didn’t even have the place clean. They were cleaning around my furniture and me moving in. I’ve had maintenance problems since I moved in. The leasing office lady is never there, they are supposed to be there from 9 AM to 6 PM and she is almost always gone by 4 PM on a good day. They don’t fix maintence problems, the problems I’ve had have been there since I moved in 12 months ago. When my lease is up I am gone. I will never recommend this place. Save yourself the trouble, find somewhere else.
I never write bad reviews, but I want to save anyone from the stress I had to endure living here. These apartments are a dump. The grass is never cut, the pet waste bins are never emptied (yes, they smell), and the ceilings are constantly cracking. I had a leak every time it rained (I was on the bottom floor), and it was never fixed. They have now charged me for “cleaning” when I deep cleaned the place before I left. It was left in better shape than when I had to move in, and remove rusty nails from the back door track. When I moved out, I could barely do so because the grass was up to my knees. Also, good luck getting in contact with management. It’s now January and it has taken me since August.
Where do I start. Been here 8 months now and things that were promised in the contract are being removed with no compensation. The ability to rent month to month and laundry amenities were removed, and rates are increasing to build new balconies nobody asked for. The grass hasn't been cut in at least a month now and it's around a foot tall in a lot of places. They left a note about it but a few weeks later nothing's been done. They will need a weed eater soon. The rates are insane for the quality I've received here. It's not good business practice to remove promised features with no compensation.
The staff here is incredibly nice. Especially the leasing agent. She went above and beyond when I was looking for an apartment in this area. The grounds are clean, apartments are in great shape, and the pool clubhouse area is really nice.
I lived here for a couple of years. The staff is great and always went above and beyond to make sure that I felt at home. I loved having access to the pool in the summertime and my husband enjoyed the basketball courts. The location is close to many restaurants and not far from the Richmond Center. Also, the close access to interstate 75 made getting to Lexington for work a breeze. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a safe, affordable place to live.
Loved living here. The maintenance crew is fantastic (though I rarely needed them), the neighborhood is friendly and quiet, and I loved having access to a pool!
I used to live here and absolutely loved it! I loved the pool and how they made an effort to keep the area updated. Everyone who works here is so helpful and nice! I would recommend this place to anyone.
I lived here for over a year and it was pretty decent. They advertise a gym, tanning bed, and other ammenities but they have strict restrictions on them that make them unusable. As for the gym it's nothing but a treadmill and bowflex machine. The tanning bed is locked up up after 5pm and only comes available when the office opens which is always at a different time (never the same). It's okay for college students trying to find a quiet place off campus for a decent buck, but for long term residency, I recommend going somewhere else. It's not worth the price you are paying for in the end.
