The dog-friendly 1-bed, 1-bath unit sits behind a gate with a fully fenced yard (separate from the main house) and a private patio. It features soaring cathedral ceilings, an open living space, and a gourmet kitchen with a dishwasher, farmhouse sink, luxury cookware, and gas range. The bedroom has a comfy bed with natural cotton linens. Enjoy in-unit laundry, a soaking tub, included utilities, AC, and fast Wi-Fi. This cozy detached guest house/ADU is located behind our main property, accessed from the street via a tall privacy gate and gravel path, offering plenty of peaceful privacy and surrounded by lush greenery. With 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and keyless entry, it comfortably accommodates up to two guests. Inside, you'll find an open-concept kitchen with modern amenities, a living area with a smart TV and dinette, and an in-unit full-sized washer and dryer. The unit also has included heat and air conditioning. You’ll also enjoy a private patio within a fully fenced yard—perfect for dog lovers! The vibe is laid-back and serene. High, wood-paneled cathedral ceilings add to the sense of space and light, while blackout shades in both the living room and bedroom help night owls sleep in. The bedroom features a queen-size Nest bedding bed with natural cotton Pendleton bedding and a bedframe offering large pull-out drawers for extra storage. There are two bedside tables with outlets and USB ports, and the closet area, along with lofted storage, provides ample space. We’re also happy to store larger luggage in our main home if needed. The bathroom includes a deep bathtub/shower combo, sink, medicine cabinet, cotton towels, quality starter soaps and shampoos, plus more lofted storage. The heart of the home is its spacious kitchen, designed with an open floor plan that flows into the living area. It’s fully equipped with granite countertops, a Bosch dishwasher, gas range, Vitamix blender, air fryer, toaster, coffee maker, and more. Cookware from Le Creuset, All-Clad, and Staub makes this kitchen a dream for gourmet cooks! The living area is furnished with a cute couch, Pendleton throw blankets, side tables, and a dining table that doubles as a workspace. A 4K UHD Roku smart TV completes the setup. Step outside to a private paved patio, your perfect spot for relaxing evenings. The home is tucked away at the back of our property and is accessed from the street behind a secure gated area. You’re also welcome to enjoy our organic vegetable and herb garden out there when it’s in season! We’re dog-friendly—one dog up to 50 lbs is welcome to stay. Our sweet, outgoing dog has access to a separate fenced area. We ask that visiting dogs be well-behaved and not aggressive, and that owners clean up after their pets. High-speed fiber-optic internet makes it easy to work remotely or stream content. A TP-Link router is provided for a secure wired connection if needed. This guest house is located in a vibrant Fremont / Beaumont Wilshire neighborhood near amazing restaurants, coffee shops, cocktail bars, breweries, and grocery stores. Try the best tacos you've ever had at a fantastic mom-and-pop shop just a block away! Wilshire Park, with an off-leash dog area, is within walking distance. The neighborhood is very bike-friendly too! We are a short distance from tons of other outdoorsy Portland activities as well! This is a furnished rental, and we are looking for people to rent the space for 1-4 months with the possibility to extend. There is a refundable securty deposit, and a non refundable pet fee.
