Property Ratings at 456 40th St
Read the subject line. I'm new to the apt. I supervised freshman communities and one year a whole dorm at PRATT Institute. I've lived with art school freshmen my whole college career. THIS APT IS MY FIRST RENTAL EVER!!! terrifying life moment. My room- as can be expected for my small budget- is literally taller than it is wide (at its 8'x9' floor space) but it is LOVELY. Obviously most of the lovability in a space is built of the people that you share it with and my apartment mates are some of the best. Needless to say they have their own rooms. As for the apt itself, close to good food, the metro, a cemetery (in case you were interested), laundry, and families everywhere! the landlord couldn't have been more understanding or helpful to my novice rental experience. All in all, this is the kind of location and experience that makes me giggle when people "wish me luck in Brooklyn". They have no idea how sweet it can be, how safe you can feel. Even if it is a little hard on my finances :) Thank you
