About This Property
Very nice studio with its own private covered porch/entryway between OSU and downtown, in a 7-unit, very quiet building. So convenient for a stroll out your door and along the riverfront, to coffee shops, cafes, grocery shopping, library, the park, Starbucks Coffee, Noah's Bagels, American Dream Pizza, Block 15 Brewery, Sky High Brewery, Safeway, Great Harvest, the Corvallis river front, and Saturday farmer's market. It scores 89 out of 100 on the walking score-a walker's paradise! There are windows on three sides, cherry laminate wood flooring in the main room, hall, and bathroom, newer kitchen floor as well. The private apartment includes a larger room for living/bedroom, a nice sized kitchen with an oven/range and refrigerator, and a full bathroom with a tub/shower. Nothing is shared with the other 6 apartments. The main room has a built-in desk/shelving and three closets in the unit. Unit has gas heat, and the building is weatherized for economical heating. Laundry is on-site. We pay water, heating the water, and garbage/recycling, tenant has his own meter for gas (heat only) and electric. We do not take a last month's rent up front, just an application fee, and offer free online payments and quick communication response. Most neighboring renters are graduate students or working singles, so we prefer 2 good references. No pets/no smoking policy. $785 for a 1 year lease, so reserve quickly-it's the only one. Historic architecture, bicyclists, and towering trees come together to make Corvallis, Oregon a fascinating and exciting city. Dating back to 1845, the city is best known as the home of Oregon State University, but Corvallis is much more than a college town. With nearly 50 parks, Corvallis is a Tree City USA, and the League of American Bicyclists rate Corvallis as gold -- 12 percent of residents ride a bicycle to school or work every day.
Oregon State University is a major draw to the city. This highly-respected university is a land-, sea-, space-, and sun-grant institution and is one of just 73 land-grant universities in the country. OSU was established in 1868, and residents of Corvallis can cheer on the OSU Beavers at Reser Stadium (football), Goss Stadium (basketball), and Gill Stadium (baseball).
