I'm offering my huge 2 bedroom loft for long or short term sublet at 475 Kent Ave. This iconic and legendary industrial Williamsburg loft is part of one of the few artist live/work buildings left in the vibrant Williamsburg neighborhood. My 1400 sq. ft. space has 2 large separate bedrooms a living room, a huge eat-in kitchen, a long hallway and a bathroom with the best water pressure you've ever had in a shower. The entire apt. has 14 ft. ceilings, cement floors and pillars, just like an old warehouse should. There is laundry on every floor of the building. The bedrooms are situated on opposite ends of the loft giving plenty of privacy and space even if sharing with roommates. You have access and use of the roof deck which is has incredible views of the city. South Williamsburg has been home to Basquiat and Bill Murray among others. Because it isn't on the main drag in central Williamsburg, there is still plenty of color and character. The building is a neighborhood unto itself, filled to the brim with artists and creative types, an amazing community roof where BBQ's and gatherings are held year round! South Williamsburg, Brooklyn - The most fun, artistic and up and coming area in Brooklyn ( and in NYC if you ask me ). With the pleasant atmosphere, you will not only feel safe, but anxious to keep on exploring the surroundings with plenty of multicultural food, art, sightseeing, music, dance, performances, nightlife and unique stores and boutiques. Getting Around East River Ferry is one block away and will take you to Manhattan in minutes or in Brooklyn from DUMBO to Long Island City Queens, stopping in N Willamsburg and Greenpoint along the way. JMZ train is a short 10 minutes walk away through a safe neighborhood and the L is 15 minutes through the center of Williamsburg. There is a Citibike station just outside the door and many bike paths. The rent is 3,000 a month and includes all utilities and cable / internet. Pets are negotiable and there is very easy street parking if you have a car.
