I have lived here for 5 years! It's a good place, good neighbors, the maintenance staff is great and the office staff is the best. I'm really only moving because I got a better job in another city, so I'm thankful to God for these apartments!
I moved in a year ago, to 4804 Haverwood Apartments. Was an incredibly kind, thoughtful and professional Manager. She had one assist when I moved in , but Umarris has been the awesome assistant. When ever I had a problem, the 2 of them always went above and beyond to assist me. They greet me by name , most apartment agents don’t know your name or care. I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR APPROX 3 YEARS AND EVERYONE IS SOOOOOOO FRIENDLY. RAUL THE MAINTENANCE GUY IS THE GREATEST, WHEN EVER THERE WAS AN ISSUE AND HE WAS INVOLVED IT CANT TRUST THAT HE WILL SOLVED THE PROBLEM.
I have lived here for 4 years. They are remodeling but don't let that fool you. Some things they cannot fix. First off, they are under grandfather law and do not have to fix certain things. For example, insulation is bad and that is something they do not have to modify to current code. So, your apartment will not stay hot or cold. The property floods horribly. There will be mud all over walkways, and sidewalks and sitting water in the road. Parking is awful. They do not regulate or enforce towing so some residents have 5 or 6 cars and management does nothing. I have had to park on the property next to ours property to have parking it is so bad. The gates will never be fixed. They have been like this since 2014. They never close-they are not up to code. Maintenance is awful. They actually put in the computer that an issue is fixed and never fix it unless its marked as emergency. They are also rude and disrespectful. The gym is only open during office hours and closed for an hour during their lunch, so unless you don't work, you really cant utilize it. For the same price, you can go down to the Frankford-Coit area, Renner or Plano Parkway and get a newer apartment with MUCH nicer amenities. The only reason to live here is if you have no car and work in the Frankford/Dallas Tollway area and must walk to work. Even then, there are better apartments in the area that you can rent. I encourage you to go check out the property after it rains, and at night to see what your really getting yourself into (since the gates do not close).
My wife and I have lived here since 2014 and we honestly love our apartment and the community. I travel a lot for my job and my wife always feels comfortable staying home without me, which in my eyes is a huge plus. The community itself is older but the owners are working really hard to make needed updates and renovations which has been nice. We have great neighbors and the office staff is always friendly and helpful. No apartment community is perfect, but if you are looking for a place to call home, 4804 comes pretty close. Pros: Charming apartment with a lot of storage, friendly staff, renovations being made, nice pool area with a grill, pet friendly, close to anything we could need, good neighbors, low(er) rent Cons: Sometimes parking is sparse
I have lived at 4804 Haverwood for 2 years now and it is the best place I've lived so far. The ladies and guys they have staffed in the leasing office and maintenance crew are so personable and great. If there happens to be any issues, they are quick to respond and resolve. It's definitely a breath of fresh air! I love my apartment and the floor plan. They even have their own security service that does regular checks for the residents safety. This was key being a female living alone. Perfect location with easy access to highways and shopping!
i bode james faluyi a permanent resident of the usa since october 2014 have been living with sister and her hobby with 3 grown up children,at 3900 oceanside dr euless,in a few weeks it will get cold at the living room were i used to sleep.bcos it was not convenient i moved in with a friend at 4808 haverwood ln dallas in a 1 bedroom apt and there are four of us there,i have been living in boxes and couldnt not have any privacy or convenience.i am 47 yrs old single but with two kids from nigeria,i would love to bring my kids that i left back home. i have no job since i have no usa work experience,i have applied for a two months training at per scholas 1610 malcolm x blvd dallas commencing oct 19th 2015. i urgent need a fair accommodation in order to concentrate and excel in the training,have privacy and rest of mind. thank you.
This apartment has been great for entertaining. It has beautiful swimming and recreation areas. There are also many families with children of all ages. The downtown food trucks,radio stations and many neighborhood businesses line the main street on weekends. And are surprisingly unobtrusive. Since it's mainly residents participating there's not really any extra traffic or parking issues. You get a small private fair type atmosphere. My children have made many friends from so many different cultures and backgrounds that I'm often amazed by what they have picked up. There is a community park nestled between the apartments and a gated community at the end of the street so there's never any thru traffic to worry about. All summer long they do day camps and provide breakfast/lunch daily. A biking/walking trail also begins there. All of the surrounding schools have high ratings. The Champions staff is friendly and extremely quick to handle anything you need. If you are looking for a wonderful family experience right outside your door and a lovely apartment this is the place you'll want to call home. Happy Hunting, Chanell P.
I was starting my master's degree at Univ. Texas of Dallas and my girlfriend had gotten a great new job in the same area. When looking for an apartment we found so many options. In fact, there were TOO many options. Where would we start? We decided to do our research. Using the apartments.com app, reading reviews, combined with driving to and seeing the area led us to 4804 Haverwood. We have been here a week and it is obvious we have found ourselves not just an apartment, but a home. The staff (yes, you, Michelle!) are incredibly helpful. The area is 5-10 mins away from EVERYTHING! The pool is fantastic, the neighbors are friendly, I could go on. I am grateful to have found such a wonderful new home.
