Regarded as the Horse Capital of the World, Lexington is home to a number of horse farms and all kinds of equestrian events. The second largest city in Kentucky, Lexington maintains a small-town feel and progressive atmosphere thanks to an involved community and the presence of three colleges — the University of Kentucky, Transylvania University, and Bluegrass Community and Technical College.
There is something for everyone in Lexington. Sports fans enjoy the horse races at the Red Mile and Wildcats basketball games at Rupp Arena. Outdoor enthusiasts delight in the city’s thriving cycling community, as well as hiking the many trails in and near Lexington. History buffs relish access to the Mary Todd Lincoln House and Ashland: the Henry Clay Estate. Art lovers savor the plentiful art galleries, including Lexington Art League, Institute 193, and the Lyric Theatre and Cultural Center. Shoppers appreciate having the largest mall in Kentucky, Fayette Mall.

Property Ratings at 5 Twenty Four & 5 Twenty Five Angliana
Among other things, this is the worst company to rent from. Save your energy.. They make everything so hard, always giving you the loop around. Moving out was a pain because they nickel and dime for everything, The amenities are ok but the apartment itself is run down and needs many updates. The 2B2B rooms are small, overpriced, and not super user-friendly. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Best property in Lexington, can't beat their prices and the amenities they have!
Fine place to live if you want the amenities... however all the walls and floors are thin. If you’re not on the 3rd floor, you can hear every upstairs footstep. Whenever my upstairs neighbor was sick, I got to hear every hacking cough and even the sound of them vomiting in their bathroom... from my room. Gate breaks often. If it was cheaper, I’d probably stay and request a 3rd floor apartment. Not worth it to me.
Way too expensive. They hide costs and have rude employees. I lived here for a year and left as soon as the lease was up.
Management was impossible to talk to. Very rude and disrespectful people. I lived at Angliana for 2 years and they charged me for ridiculous things. When I moved into the apartment my bathroom was filled with dirt and urine stains. I tried to discuss my situation with management and they refused to talk to me. I would definitly reccomned staying somewhere else in Lexington.
Not only do they charge you a year's worth of rent for a lease that is 19 days short of a year, but they will find a way to charge extra fees for nearly everything! Don't believe that the electric bill will be covered......you will pay extra every month. They hire student workers that will misinform you about rules and policies.....which you will be fined for, even if mis-informed by their employees! $75 for turning a key in a couple of hours "late" when you are vacating the apartment 19 days short of a typical year- long lease. Have found better, more affordable housing, that is closer to UK!
When choosing any complex to live in, it's important that management is able to help you to the best of their extent. This is the complete opposite of the attitude I've experienced here at 524 Angliana--the manager of the complex is not only unhelpful and often rude, but protects herself with excuses and does little to help residents. I had the misfortune of leasing here and experienced a broken HVAC during the hottest time of summer (twice), a (as the management likes to call) "testy" front door lock resulting in lock-outs (that we were charged for) and also a door that won't lock, as well as instances of mold, broken windows, and poor building design overall. The least anyone could expect is to be able to lock their own apartment door... The inflated rates and fees do not reflect what you'll get out of living here. Also, any positive reviews could be a result of their "pizza for a review" event they had, asking residents to give them good google reviews in exchange for a pizza slice. The only positive experience I had was the maintenance staff who were limited in what they could do, but did the best they could within those limits.
I have been leaving here for two years now. Don't get me wrong my apartment is very modern and up to date. What I have a problem with is the management. They are horrible. When I first moved in, my apartment was extremely dirty. My mother and I had to clean it from top to bottom. We went and had to buy our own cleaning supplies and spent a majority of the day cleaning it. I'm pretty sure it's suppose to be clean before you move in. I have had a couple of maintenance issues with my apartment and they never came. I called multiple times and they didn't seem to care. I will be moving out after this lease. It was convenient to be close to campus, but I am so over the management here.
524 Angliana is a pretty good place to live. If anything needs fixed in the apartment, like the dishwasher, blown lightbulb, or broken drawer in the fridge, they fix it. Everything is included in the rent, so it makes it really easy for a first time renter in college. The only true complaint I have is that the management staff can be very rude.
