Property Ratings at 500 Park Avenue
I've lived here for 12 months. I have no complaints. Quiet, clean, friendly staff.

I have lived in this apartment for a couple of mouths. So far, I’ve been feeling positive about this apartment so far, I want to share some of my opinions. Compared to my previous apartment, there are three aspects of living here that particularly impressed me. The first one is the quality of the household appliances in this apartment - they are pretty new and function very well. The air conditioner in my room adjusts the temperature very quickly, the dishwasher does a remarkable job of cleaning dishes, and the clothes dryer works satisfactorily. In my previous apartment, the performance of these appliances wasn’t as good as I had hoped. The second aspect is the impressive sound insulation. In my previous apartment (I can’t stop comparing these two apartments), I couldn’t listen to music or turn up my television as I would have liked, due to poor sound insulation. However, in this apartment, my friend and I live next door to each other but I’ve never heard of any sounds from his room. The sound insulation is truly remarkable. Occasionally, there are sounds from the road and the pub in front of the apartment, but these are infrequent and not too disruptive (at least in my room). The last aspect, which might be unique to my situation, is the built-in electric car charger in the garage. I drive an electric car, and charging it without a home charger can be quite troublesome due to the time it takes. This apartment provides a designated parking spot with an electric charger in the garage, which is incredibly convenient. Considering the three aspects, I’m considerably satisfied with this apartment. If I continue to live in Baltimore and the rent won’t increase so much next year, I probably stay here.

My fiance and I recently moved here from the West Coast and the moment we walked in for a tour we felt right at home! The office staff has been very accommodating in helping us get settled, with Jaden and Colleen being especially helpful! The maintenance staff is great as well and are excellent in responding to questions and requests in a timely manner. In addition, the facilities and location are both comfortable and convenient for various activities and moods. We are very happy with our choice!

Thank you for the wonderful review of 500 Park Avenue! We are glad to know how much you and your fiancé are enjoying your new home here.
I was really happy with living in this apartment pre-COVID. The location is pretty decent, though on the edge of a sketchy area. They have a mail room area for package delivery and if the mailboxes were full, it will be delivered to door and I haven't had an issue. However, since COVID started, packages were just left littered all over the mailroom, it is difficult access your mailbox. It was understandable to limit another person walking through the hallways. It seems like the management just accepted this as "acceptable" now and have done nothing to change it. Packages are getting stolen from the mailroom and office is ignoring emails regarding complaints. In addition, packages no matter how small or big is just littered through out. It is an absolute mess. The lack of management care is just frustrating at this point and they also have a huge turnover rate for person in office. In addition, there is an EventSpace that opened nearby that blast loud music every weekend during summer that goes past 11pm. By loud I do mean very loud that vibrates your own room in the apartment, so good luck living on the side that is closest to Franklin. Management does nothing to help the resident's case and the residents have been trying to take things into their own hands with the city. I am tired of the lack of concern the management has for its resident and would not recommend this location.
Property Manager at 500 Park Avenue, Responded To This Review
We are sorry to hear that your experience has not met your expectations. Our residents are important to us and your input is always appreciated. With regard to the packages, we are currently working with our package delivery companies to assure that deliveries are made when the leasing office is open. We’ve already noticed a considerable difference as the staff can address the packages as soon as they arrive. With this new approach and residents full participation in the Parcel Pending package system we expect to overcome any delivery issues. We also understand that the noise levels from the neighborhood event space located on the adjacent 400 block are unfortunate. Management has reached out the venue several times. We are also reaching out to Baltimore city in hopes that they can address the issue with the outdoor concerts. With regard to staffing, residents are seeing new faces as our staff now work out of both 500 and 520 Park. Previously we had just one primary staff member on site. The addition of staff has been initiated to better meet the needs of our residents. We are always here for our residents and welcome their input. Our ultimate goal is to provide a home that our residents can be proud of and we thank you for playing a part in those efforts. Brian W. Keiper, RHM, ARM ® Senior Property Manager
I have lived here for 6 months and have enjoyed every second! This is my first time living in an apartment for some years and the transition from house living has been seamless. Due to the pandemic I was forced to move back to Maryland from Minnesota and looked at places all over the city to find this gem. It is quiet (aside from normal city noises of course), there is easy access to literally everything even as a person who does not have a car. Most importantly, the leasing staff has made every step of the way painless for me. They are all super polite, quick to solve any issues (which I haven't had many to be honest) and it is nice to know that during my personal transition, always there if I need anything at all, ranging from mait issues to just general information regarding the area, things to do, directions etc. Highly recommend to anyone looking for perfect city living with a friendly staff.

This is truly the best apartment building in the city (and believe me, I’ve looked at or lived in them all!) 500 Park is safe and clean, the amenities are SO nice to have, and everyone is so friendly here, it’s so easy to make friends if you’re new to the city! The quality of apartment you get (chic modern style, thoughtful floorplans, excellent soundproofing between walls makes it so quiet I often forget I have neighbors, high quality appliances and features, neighbors are professional/respectful, insanely responsive and hard-working maintenance team and most importantly, secure parking on-site) in such a prime location (same block as the Marketplace, a quick walk to the other shops/bars/restaurants/parks/museums of Mt. Vernon and the harbor; and a quick Uber/lightrail/etc to anywhere else in the city) is absolutely unbeatable. I’ve never had a single complaint about living here; and I’ve never been shy to break a lease and move if I’m not happy with where I live! I moved to Baltimore from out of state and originally moved in when this building first opened. I moved out of state again for work, and when I came back to Baltimore I tried living elsewhere to see how I liked other parts of the city. I ended up moving from place to place, because they all left me feeling dissatisfied for one reason or another. I eventually decided to see about moving back to 500 Park since I had such a great experience living here originally, and I’ve truly never been happier! This building runs like a well-oiled machine, you can absolutely tell how hard Heather and the rest of the team all work to keep this such a wonderful place to call home. I’m so glad to be living here again, and I’m confident I’ll continue to do so as long as I live in Baltimore!

I enjoyed living here. Really great looking building, friendly and attentive staff, the amenities are really cool also. If I could pick up the building and move it with me to Virginia I totally would. Sorry to leave this place but I highly recommend it.

New building, great location, friendly staff — I have enjoyed living at 500 Park New and comfortable units, great location in Mount Vernon, and awesome very helpful people at the leasing office. I have not encountered one single serious problem during my one-year stay. Maintenance orders are taken care of very quickly and effectively.

TLDR - Overall pretty good place to live, would stay here again! I'm a student and stayed here for the past 4 years since they first opened, in both a 2BR Unit and 1BR unit. There have been some growing pains but overall I have been very satisfied with my stay. Mt. Vernon is a safe and vibrant neighborhood, lots of food (Mount Vernon Marketplace downstairs) and safe to walk around. Less than a 10 minute drive to many hospitals, 7-minute walk to the JHMI shuttle/Charm City Circulator. The amenities are very nice, and the space is clean and modern. Pool/grills are nice, but I didn't use them much. Management has been pretty receptive and open to addressing any issues. I have never had a problem with mail as long as it is delivered inside the building, (lockers/mail area). Maintenance team gets a 11/10 for fulfilling all my service requests within the next day. There were some issues with the fire alarm going off because of people idling in the garage but that seems to have resolved over the last 1-2 years with lots of reminders. The dog park is nice if you have a dog. Price is on the more expensive side but with in-unit washer dryer and the amenities it's not nearly as bad as other high cost of living cities. Prior to COVID there were a bunch of small events for residents which were appreciated. All things considered, if you wanted to live in Mt. Vernon, I would recommend living here without reservation, especially if you can get some friends to move in as well.

Thank you for taking the time to rate us and for sharing such thoughtful feedback about your experience here. We are glad to know you would recommend our community to others!
Heather, Deron, and Brittany have all done an outstanding job making our unit more serviceable and enjoyable. They all even go that extra mile in responsibly dealing with, assisting, and even door-delivery packages. The maintenance is also outstanding, very quick to respond to work orders. Put simply, your staff is GREAT and we are even more happy that we chose 500 Park.

I have lived at 500 Park Avenue just over a year now, and I still love it just as much as the day I took my first tour. When I come home from work, it is extremely important for me to feel comfortable, home should be your sanctuary! This has been my happy place every time I return from work, which means a lot after living here for a year. This property is located in the beautiful neighborhood of Mount Vernon, which is full of great restaurants, the Walters Art Museum, the Peabody and so much more. Maintenance has always been spot on when I submit a request and the staff always helpful and prompt when I need help. I am so happy that I chose this property to call my home.
I looked at a large number of apartments in Mt. Vernon, Federal Hill, Hampden, and Canton. I saw 500 Park Ave first and should have stopped there. The first thing I noticed was the facility itself. Very modern and very clean (and it's been clean over the whole month and a half I've been here). The second thing is the leasing office and personnel. I have had terrible experiences with leasing personnel in the past, but I have been so blown away by WPM and their employees who work at 500 Park Ave (sidenote: every apartment I saw run by WPM had amazing leasing agents). Josh and Sierra are always friendly and checking in on how things are going. It really creates a better, more friendly community when the leasing office is so cordial. Speaking of the community, I haven't been fortunate to take part in the social events the complex puts on, but everyone I've interacted with is friendly and respectful; mostly young professionals like myself. I have no complaints about my apartment itself. Some of the quietest apartments in the area (considering it is a busy area). Good quality windows that block noise and temperature. Everything is new and average to above average quality. The few issues I've had (like every new apartment) were promptly fixed. The lobby has free coffee, pinball, a cool little retro video game machine, and a slightly compact gym that has everything you need and is rarely occupied. There have been some issues with fire alarms going off because of people idling their cars in the underground garage, but they are working on resolving them and have sent many e-mail updates along the way. The area is quite safe, particularly during the day. Just know where to walk and where not to (Josh or Sierra could probably let you know). The vast majority of Mt. Vernon is safe. Selling points also include the Mt. Vernon Marketplace two doors down; an amazing Italian place across the street that's open late on weekends; lots of great cafes, bars, and restaurants; and an easy walk to Power Plant Live, Inner Harbor, etc. There is no guest parking, but there is some free street parking on weekends, a reasonable lot across the street, and a garage near Franklin and Monument that is fairly reasonable ($10-12/day) and very secure. I can honestly say that this is the best apartment experience I've ever had. I feel very fortunate to live here, and lucky that I was able to take advantage of some of their amazing recent deals.
The property is brand new and looks amazing. This is a vibrant community in the heart of Mount Vernon and is everything that I was looking for. Management goes above and beyond to make this a place to call home, and the maintenance team is top notch--they are honestly one of the highlights of 500 Park. This would be the first place I'd recommend to anyone thinking of moving to Mount Vernon.
There is a secret at 500 Park Avenue. Read on. Not a secret is that these new apartments are modern yet cozy. There is a surprising amount of space and storage. When you come to visit (no need to look elsewhere, I did that for you), you'll see our gorgeous pool and brand new pool table. There’s plenty more but you’ll see. Events in our 500 community abound. The best food and coffee in the area is right next door and across the street. So the secret? Our 500 Park Ave Team. Quite simply, their friendliness, responsiveness and professionalism turn these apartments into homes. Becky runs the place like a ship. Her thoughtful communication, attention to detail and personal demand for a high level of service is evident everywhere. Sierra is our community’s secret weapon. Everyone needs a Sierra. Have a question, request or concern? Sierra is there for you. I’m convinced she knows everything about everything. Send her an email? She responds almost instantly. She is organized, efficient, energetic and will consistently surprise you by knowing what you need before you do. And then there are John, Chris and Justin. These guys know what they’re doing and take pride in keeping 500 Park Ave at its finest. Trustworthy and friendly as heck, they’re also often ahead of the curve both inside and out of our building. Beware. If you put a work order in, you'll probably get a knock on the door within minutes. We have bragging rights here for having the most responsive (and funniest?) maintenance team in the state. (I'd say the world but it would go to their heads.) So to be honest, 500 Park Ave doesn't really have a secret. We have Becky, Sierra, John, Chris and Justin. Home.
I recently moved in to 500 Park about two months ago and I have nothing but great things to say about the building and staff. I've lived in several large apartment communities and this was by far the easiest, least stressful moving experience I've ever had. The scheduling team as well as onsite staff for the move were timely, friendly and helpful. Upon moving in we have had a few minor maintenance requests and the team as responded within the hour of submission. I know that if there is every and issue the maintenance staff will be there quickly and fully able to resolve issues. The apartments are absolutely beautiful and the appliances/HVAC are easy to use and extremely energy efficient. This is a great place to live for anyone who wants to experience Mt. Vernon - it's close to several restaurants, bars, museums and the monument! I couldn't be happier with our decision to move into 500 Park.
Every issue I've had since moving in has been addressed promptly and effectively. Even a new building can have its quirks, but someone is always there to address them as they arise. I've been very happy with my experience here so far.
500 Park represented a great value in a revitalizing neighborhood with immediate vicinity to a coffee shop and the Mt Vernon Marketplace. The rest of the immediate area definitely could use improvement but with the recent apartment influx, development is all but assured. The building construction is solid with quality counters, cabinets and appliances. Space is generous and is a value steal. While, as expected, there were hiccups in moving into a new building while it was under construction, the management office was very responsive. Very happy to live here!
I love living at 500 Park for a number of reasons! The contemporary architecture lends itself to my minimalist but chic style. The proximity of the apartments to my job and to local downtown hotspots makes it convenient for my work and personal life. In addition, security is reliable which is a blessing in downtown Baltimore. Not to mention, as a foodie, I live next to my favorite coffee roasters and above Mt Vernon Marketplace... enough said.
I moved into this brand new property just a few weeks ago, and I have no regrets whatsoever. It's a truly beautiful complex and the staff has been incredibly responsive and helpful! Mount Vernon is also a fantastic place to live with plenty of colorful restaurants, museums, taverns, and cafes right within walking distance. I would recommend also checking out the Mount Vernon Marketplace next door for great happy hours, food variety, and game nights.
