Need I say more? I wanted to like it so badly, but just couldn’t deal with coming home and seeing roaches scattering every night. Never had any before, haven’t had any since I left. They send pest control who will admit “THAT THERE ARE ROACHES” then management acts all confused like “oh you must be the only unit!” Ha! I moved out after two months because I couldn’t take it.

I've lived here for a handful of years and the location is the best part. It is close to many stores, restaurants, coffee shops, and public transportation. This is pretty nice for me being a working professional who prioritizes convenience and accessibility. In addition, the neighbors including the manager are friendly. Referring to one of the previous reviews, I also lived here during the fire and it was an accident caused by the tenant (who I heard was the 1 who passed away unfortunately in the hospital). Luckily the fire was extinguished within minutes by the LAFD. Other than that, I personally haven't had any issues with cockroaches, or maintenance issues. So if you're looking for a good place and favor good location, this is it!

The apartments from inside looks great and neat. Place is convenient for people who dont have a car. Transit such as bus is right infront of the building. metro station its just 2 blocks away.It’s location is just walking distance to bank, post office, high school, Gyms, and plenty of cultural, diverse fast food restaurants. Its also near to big market such as Ralphs, Jons, Seafood city etc...Been living in this place and it has friendly neighbors. Building is really quite and peaceful ,because most of the people who lived here are either single person only who worked during the day time and rest during night time. Rarely seen family members that lives in this place. The new manager is young, nice, and compassionate. His very diligent & responds on time to our requests. Overall, It’s an Ideal place for people seeking for very quite enviroment.

The first review seems to be written by the landlord/management. This place is not safe. I could not exit the building via the fire exit on the northwest side. Luckily there wasn't a fire at the time. I lived here when we had a fire on the 2nd floor and was not in the apartment at the time. There was 1 death and few people hospitalized for smoke inhalation. At least most people know the lobby stair is usually open because people frequently use it. This apartment has constant cockroach problems. Friends of mine that work in LAPD have told me this is NOT a safe neighborhood and there are lot of gang activity here. Really high apartment manager turnover rate due to landlord's penny pinching tendencies. Things do not get fixed, because the landlord wants to fix it himself. Does a poor job and refuses to hire a professional until things get far worse. Expect everybody's rent to hike up to fullest every year. Good point is, you actually are close to everything. There are places to eat and groceries all within walking distance. If you really can't find anything else, the location makes it alright.

the building is safe, clean, strictly lovely people. from 4 members families to two college Roommates, pretty diverse, and a quite place. Not to forget, close to EVERYTHING, shopping, public transportation like the bus and metros are steps away. Also, fooding here is awesome, great selection. 15 min to Hollywood, 10 min to Downtown LA, can't beat that as well.
