Would recommend for young professionals or people with dogs. Lots of barking all the time at this property. Management staff is good and never had an issue with them or maintenance. Never had an issue with packages like ither reviewers. Great location near the interstate. Wonderful sunset view. Love using the pool but they let other buildings outside of 5020 use it which causes it to always be busy with children and families. Parking is terrible, never enough for residents, unassigned spots which leave residents having to park down the street while guests take spots. Hallways need to be redone and many apartments smell of weed, would not recommend for those who do not want to smell this on a daily basis

Our resort style pool is only open to 50Twenty residents. If you believe there have been unauthorized guests that have led to overcrowding we'd be happy to connect and hear more details so we can look into the situation. Our reservable heated underground parking is available for residents and is the best option for ensuring a personal parking spot, and the unassigned lot spots are still intended for resident use only with designated guest parking. We trust our residents to direct guests to these spots with our enforcement if necessary. I really enjoy living here and so do my kids. I love our space and the peace and quite inside my apartment home. Neighbors are respectful and everyone I’ve met or passed by are friendly, including the pets. I’ve met many residents at community events and enjoying the fire pit at night. Great atmosphere here.

Everything inside is cheap and falling apart. Maintenance takes months if they don't just forget about you completely. Management lies when it comes to re signing leases. Hallways and stairwell never get cleaned. Packages go missing from the lobby.
Although this apartment is listed as "luxury", it could not be further from that. When we moved in, the carpets in our unit reeked of urine and there were multiple yellow and brown stains in our living room and bedroom. Melissa (property manager) advised it was "coffee" that they "didn't see" when they "inspected" the unit. We had to move out for a week while our carpets had to be replaced from the previous tenant's dirtiness and did not receive any pro-rated rent. Management is deceitful, disorganized, and has a complete disregard for tenant safety and comfort. Please don't make the same mistake I did and find somewhere else to live!

Here’s my experience at 50Twenty,,,, first day moving in clothing and furniture got soaked by the vendor who services their fire suppression system. No follow up from management. Incredibly poor management. I moved here to assist a family member move out....and two weeks ago that family member was TRAPPED in the ELEVATOR! The fire department was called and they had to rescue him. No response from management until I called them to find out what the heck was going on... Issues with maintenance, billing on the apartment.... not sure what Level of service one expects from their apartment management...but the service is horrendous. Run quickly.
This place has been a wonderful place to live. I travel for work and the office staff help me out constantly with what ever I need. They even helped me pick my apartment from across the country.

My husband and I lived at the 50Twenty for a year. I would absolutely not recommend it to anyone. The apartment itself is gorgeous, very modern with nice appliances. The apartment amenities – pool, fitness center, grills, fire pit – are great, too. At first, we were elated to be moving into such a ‘fancy’ place. We quickly realized, however, that there was nothing but disorganization under the surface. There was theft among our neighbors, with packages disappearing if left unattended. Passive aggressive notes were left in the halls directed at other neighbors, which seemed childish and inappropriate. It seems to be a revolving door of office staff, and communication was an issue. Many times, things we communicated to management fell through the cracks, including our written notice to vacate. Somehow it was missed, and we received a slap-in-the-face of an eviction notice, despite several instances of communication with regard to our moving out. Parking is an abomination. While each unit does have one underground parking space, the outdoor parking capacity is insufficient. There are not enough parking spaces even for residents, let alone guests, so we often had to park down the street. The first snow fall was ridiculous. Maintenance was driving around with small plows, but instead of plowing parking spots as they were vacated in the morning, each building was given a ‘time slot’ that we were all supposed to move our vehicles so that they could remove the snow from one entire building at a time. Given the already outrageous parking situation, you can imagine this was a real treat, not to mention unrealistic for those of us at work during that time. We felt that we were taken advantage of because we keep a clean living space. I have never lived in a place where management was so intrusive. Management was in our place upwards of 12 times in the one year we lived there for several maintenance inspections, bank investor showings, and walk throughs. It was a huge inconvenience to us, because we both work daytime hours and we have a dog that had to be removed from the apartment every time they came in. When we requested not to have management use our apartment anymore, they told us that we should consider this a ‘compliment’ because we have a nice place. So inconsiderate of our requests. This place has no regard for its residents. It is strictly a business. I was disgusted with the way this place is operated, and I would not recommend the 50Twenty to anyone.

The apartments have nice finishes but they don't last too long. The parking sucks. The new building hasn't even opened yet and people are already parking out front. You can't ever park out front of your building because other people from different buildings are parked in front of yours. The walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbors inside your unit. Over half of the people located in each building are not friendly or just look at you and stare. They say it's dog friendly and you are allowed to have dogs but over half of the people in each unit are deathly afraid of dogs and will scream and run away or tell you to get their dog away from them. So in the end it is not dog friendly.

If you are looking out for a royal lifestyle with all amenities, this is the perfect place to stay. 5020 has all the upgraded amenities which includes state of the art gym, swimming pool, grilling area, etc. It is very near to the most frequented places like Costco, Cinema Palace, Woodmans, etc. Not to mention, very near to the workplace who work for American Insurance Family. In a nutshell, best value for your bucks :-)

We love our newly constructed apartment. If you choose the top floor (3rd floor) corner unit you will have cathedral ceilings in the Living Room/Kitchen and both Bedrooms. Since we moved from a house into an apartment, it's helped us deal with the less square footage. The bedrooms both have walk in closets that double for great storage. The unit has two full bathrooms with lots of storage. We use the linen closet as an extra pantry for items we don't use that much. The view is incredible! We are facing the court yard so we can see people coming and going or just lounging around the fire and grill area. Also if you sit in the living room at dusk we can see the sun go down and the skyline in the distance. The under ground parking will be a blessing this winter. Currently we are enjoying the free access to the pool & fitness center that is located on the property.

Apartments are brand new and very comfortable. They allow up to 2 pets per apartment and that includes dogs. There are dog cleaning stations in the underground parking garage, which is very thoughtful. They also have dog waste stations out on the grounds w/bags and trash cans. The clubhouse/pool/fitness center are all top notch. They are really trying to encourage a community feel. There is a central grilling station with 3 gas grills, picnic table; 4 top table... and a huge firepit. Management is friendly and maintenance requests have been responded to very quickly. It is worth a trip to come check this place out!!!

I have just recently moved into my building. I feel so at home! Everyone is friendly and the entire community feels like a resort. Like I am on vacation everyday at home. I can't wait to see all the new additions they are adding over the next year:)

I lived here for about a year and couldn't wait to get out. The property markets itself as a luxury apartment complex and the rent reflects that but the reality is that is falls short of the marketing in many areas. Yes, they have granite countertops, but only on the island, the rest are Formica. The rest of the finishes are average at best and don't hold up to the traffic or use. A much larger concern is SECURITY, which is dismal. The complex has had recent issues with theft to the point that the County Sheriff was involved. Even with that happening he management doesn't step up the security, in fact they prop open the security doors to the building allowing anyone to come and go as they please. If you ask me having to call in the Sherriff for a firearms theft in the complex is reason enough to move out right away but there's more. The management staff onsite is a revolving door of people that talk the talk but don't follow through and definitely don't walk the walk. The common areas are filthy, the garages are disgusting, and the snow removal takes forever. Parking on the comlex is tough as the construction traffic takes a lot of spots during the day. Nighttime paring is even worse as the streets are very narrow and the overload of parked cars makes it possible to meet a car coming from the other area. Professional management that follows through, understands customer service, and cares about the residents is far overdue. Madison has so many great places to live, it's difficult to see how this location will hold up which is very disappointing.
