Property Ratings at 5151
In my opinion I feel as if the customer service of this leasing team and management was unprofessional. They wanted to raise the rent significantly so we decided to move out after only 1 year. They kept almost our entire security deposit for what they state is to replace the carpet (in an almost all wood floor 700 square foot) unit. When no damage was made other then what I stated on my move in inspection from previous tenants. Also a cleaning fee when I have pictures of how I left it and I would say it's pretty clean as I needed this money. They also charged me for renters insurance when I have had my own sense I moved in (The one they recommended.!) I showed them proof numerous times and they have always taken it off as their mistake until now! I would not recommend this community with the current leasing team. The team they had before was way better and more friendly/professional. The new property manager would not even give me the decency to call me back and rather just email me the number to the ownership of the property. I am still awaiting a call back from them as well. Only good thing about this complex was it’s maintenance staff.
I really wanted to love this place, but that unfortunately did not happen. Let's start with the High Turn over in Management. It was difficult to keep track of who was in charge in the 15 months we were there. There is also the issue with smokers, in a non smoking community. It's fine and all if they go the recommend feet away from the building, but most smokers would do so openly on their patios which would just permeate the upstairs apartments. I don't think a day went by we did not smell cigarette smoke. Next is the homeless. From smoking crack behind the dumpsters, or digging through the dumpsters, there wasn't a day we didn't see them. It's gotten much worse in recently. We've called and stopped by a few times to voice our concerns but it seemed to fall on deaf ears. We called the security and watched as no one ever showed up to investigate our complaint. Just seems like no one knows what is going on here and its toted as this First Class apartment complex and falls far from it. The service team were great to deal with and small problems were typically fixed right away, but everything else just didn't help. Some of the neighbors are some of the most disrespectful people. Would HIGHLY recommend looking else where. So many more things were wrong with this place but most of them fall out of Managements purview.

I'm sorry to hear about your disappointing experience at our community. The turnover in management, issues with smokers, and the presence of homeless individuals seem to have greatly affected your time here. Although we have never had any reported concerns of individuals rummaging through the dumpsters, we can understand how this would create discomfort. It's unfortunate that your concerns weren't effectively addressed despite your attempts to voice them. We're happy to hear you were satisfied with the consistency of our Maintenance Team. Thank you for taking time to share your experience, we will take the correct measures to ensure other residents do not have this experience.
My dog and I have really enjoyed living here so far (a little less than a year). We like the location, being slightly offset from the cute downtown area, while still close enough to walk. The office team are all super friendly, and welcome us by name when we come in to visit for a dog snack, which is a nice and thoughtful touch that my dog looks forward to greatly. They always try to stop and pet him and say hello, and he absolutely loves getting attention from them! I have felt safe within our community walking around frequently throughout the day & night, and often see the police or the security cars patrolling through, which is awesome. We haven’t had many maintenance issues but they have been timely addressed, and the grounds are all well-attended to. We recommend ????
I have never lived in an apartment before...even in college. I love it! I love the amenities; I love that downtown Littleton is just a mile from there, and I can easily connect to the running paths. The 12 days of Christmas was impressive. I manage an extended stay hotel, and we will do that for our guests next year...it was so fun! Thank you! Andra
I received a very good support for all the staff to know about the appartments, they always are very open friendly for any requirement. I'm happy living here.
I have lived at 5151 since July of 2019 and have enjoyed the quietness and cleanliness of the complex. Sarah, Cat and the office staff are wonderful and always ready to answer any questions or address any concerns and the maintenance staff responds very fast when a request is submitted. 5151 is also very pet friendly and hosts pet friendly events such as pet of the month contests and your pets are always welcome in the clubhouse. They also host special events at the pool or clubhouse to bring the tenants together. The location is excellent. It is only a short fifteen minute walk to Riverside Downs on the west side of Santa Fe which houses Pedal, Toast, The Pint Room and Starbucks just to name a few. A short fifteen minute walk south and you are in Downtown Littleton with and abundance of shops, restaurants and the light rail. And a five minute walk, just across Prince Street, is The Lost Cajun, Piccino’s Wood Oven Pizza and LaMare’s Donuts among other restaurants.
Great Property Managers, Leasing Consultants, facilities, and units. Updated units and close to shopping center, downtown, and highway.
I had a hard time finding a place to live with my sweet pup. Her breed tends to be on restricted breed lists at most apartment complexes. Then I found 5151…and am so glad I did! Not only are the front office and maintenance teams welcoming to all dog breeds, but they go above and beyond to make dog owners and their pets feel welcome. I couldn’t ask for a safer and more caring living situation.
I just celebrated one year of living at 5151 (and signed a second 12-month lease), and I couldn't be happier. The complex is safe, quiet and clean, and the residents are amazing. The property management team is the best in the business; they truly go above and beyond to make the residents feel at home. And I cannot say enough great things about the maintenance team- they are truly second to none! I feel so fortunate to have found 5151.
I have lived here for going on two years and I have never had an issue here. The staff has been exemplary! I appreciate their people skills and their professionalism. I appreciate how I can talk to the staff because they are so down to earth. I love living in this community and I love my apartment. This community fits all of my needs and my current lifestyle! Thank you 5151 for helping to create a happy living experience for me.
The people at the front office are great. They answer the phone and are very helpful. Maintenance has fixed all my issues very fast. Outside traffic is the only issue I have. (Light sleeper)
Community is gorgeous, location is perfect! Thank you Nataly for the tour!

Thank you for your positive feedback! We are so lucky to have Nataly on our team!
Because I just re-signed my renewal for 12 months, I figured I'd write this community a review! After living just about everywhere in Colorado, this has by far been my favorite location; easy to get to i-25 and 470, there's a lot going for this area! Not to mention it's about a 2 minute drive/15 minute walk to downtown Littleton, which offers Viewhouse, Rocker, Tavern, Adelita's and more! This area has been very quiet, and offers a place for a fresh new start if you're needing it like I did. Amazing views, hot tub, beautiful clubhouse, and more, make it very easy to say I'm happy to be re-signing to live here for another year.

Thank you for your positive review! We are so thrilled that you renewed and appreciate your kind words!
Apartments.com made me edit this post, so I cut the LIST of reasons to explain our current horrible situation. - They're doing roof repair and we recently noticed a horrible acetone smell in the apartment. My husband was home and became nauseous (even our dog threw up a few times and was fine when we moved him out of the apartment the next day). - I emailed and called the leasing office looking for answers and there were no replies. I left work early to go in person to demand some sort of help. No one in the office apologized for anything! They told me the chemicals weren’t poisonous and that they had emailed the community that their phone lines are down. (The email was sent 10 days prior, what property leaves their phone lines down that long?!). They also couldn’t give an end ETA , just that it was “soon”. - When I went back to the apartment to email the community manager, just 15 minutes back in my apartment and the fumes started to make me sick again. I asked to be let out of our lease a month early since they obviously don’t seem to think this a concern and/or could tell me when it would be done. (This would mean paying rent for 2 more weeks even though we’d be moved out, but obviously wasn’t going to ask them to end the lease immediately- I’m not that crazy.) The response was that she’s sorry we’re getting nauseous but the smell should dissipate after several hours. If it were a few hours I wouldn’t be concerned, but we are now on DAY 4 where the smell is more than half the day if not the entire day! So we are forced to leave our windows open in this 99 degree weather, hoping for some sort of relief from the nauseousness and have to figure out what to do during the day so our dog isn’t exposed to it. - I will add that our doctor advised us to contact poison control who also said the fumes aren’t poisonous but that the environment isn’t ideal for long periods of time because of the side effects we’re experiencing. - Our neighbor just approached us with the same concerns and said he brought the head of maintenance to his apartment who agreed the smell was bad and no solutions were provided. A friend advised us to reach out to a lawyer, maybe it could be a group case now. We advise to live somewhere else, almost anywhere else. It’s not worth the headaches (literally).
Having finally experienced (for the first time in 4 years) the not-so-fun experience of having my car towed thanks to the lovely towing company 5151 Downtown Littleton contracts with, I want to make sure current residents and future residents understand their rights so they don't go through what I did in the last 12 hours (especially given 5151 Downtown Littleton's stance is "we're sorry that happened but it's not our problem/nor do we care to advocate for you as a resident"): If your license plate tags have expired and you have proactively gone online to register your vehicle, the towing company and 5151 Downtown Littleton will still tow your car as the towing company has no way of verifying the registration. Yes, that's right. You can be legally parked, legally registered and a resident, and will still have to pay $260 to get your car back. Steps to remedy this for residents or be proactive to avoid issues with expired tags are not communicated or outlined by 5151 in leases, parking addendum, or parking rules. I recommend leasing elsewhere.
This is a very nice location with amazing staff! The girl named Devyn that works in the office was very kind and made sure I got the help I needed. Amazing costumer service along with animal friendly.
I have lived here for almost a year now and there have been a multitude of issues. From constant rent payment issues that the resident is fully responsible to discover, correct and educate management of, there is also an incompetence by management to take any responsibility. I had my parent move in to an apartment to hold them over until their house was built, and they not only had multiple gas leaks in their place, but they have also had rent issues when they (as I as well) pay in full amount every month. They now have closed the workout area and yet still charge and advertise for it. Please head my warning if you are looking this place over. Do your due diligence and look elsewhere first. There are many places that will charge you less for better service.
I have lived here since October 2015. I have lived in two different units. Aside from the cool Maintenance workers, this complex is absolute garbage. NO parking for hardworking residents because some tenants have 9 parking passes and 8 broken down cars taking up space. Now I pay $170 a month for a garage, and the garage hardly ever opens! First unit smelled of Cigar smoke the entire time we lived there, The lights always burn out due to poor wiring, you can actually see burnt plastic on light fixtures. Moved into my most recent unit in December 2016, the oven has a horrendous stain in it, and I have asked REPEATEDLY for it to be replaced. Nothing. There are NEVER waste removal bags for Dogs, not that tenants use them when they are present. the rocks and grass surrounding the complex are sure to be a bio-hazard with all the pet waste left behind. I live next to people that work in the office, and have been woken up by police due to their domestic violence problems. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I would not recommend ANYONE give Echelon Property Groups or 5151 Downtown Littleton their business. The towing is done at RANDOM times, costs a fortune, and the tow company is rarely updated as to which Cars belong, and which should be removed. Air Filters are hardly ever maintained unless you beg them to. A window cracked due to the extreme weather two months ago, and it took them two weeks to even address the problem, when I told them I wasn't paying rent until it was fixed, it was fixed the next day. When it snows, the sidewalks are left in a horrible state, either EXTREMELY icy, or so covered in salt that I have to rinse my shoes, as well as watch where my pets step to prevent tracking salt in my home, or harming my beloved pets. The breezeways leading to apartments are always covered in garbage, foliage from the horribly maintained vegetation, and even PET WASTE. Cannot wait to move out! I really wish I could give Zero stars. Overpriced, Low quality gimmick apartments.
We have been living here for 3 years. When we started living here there was a very nice guy at the front desk who kept the place clean and nice. The maintenance guy was also very good, he would come and fix everything and he was reliable. Then these two people left and the level of service started going down. I also started seen the police a lot ore often, and just last week they arrested two young people in the very building I live in! I also used to live in an apartment where my neighbors upstairs would make noises all the time especially at night and the management did NOTHING about it. Apart of course from raising the rent! Many people don't even pay the rent, I saw eviction notices on doors all the time. But the old renters are treated badly! Lately many things are not happening here, for ex. the pool has been closed for weeks but no email went out to let us know. The computer area in the clubhouse is dirty, one of the computer screens is broken for as long as I remember. No attempt has been made to add anything, not a pen not a magazine to read... the coffee machine is broken often, the pool table does not even have sticks because they have been broken by wild kids right in front of the management who does nothing to stop them. Last summer even homeless were coming to the clubhouse! The oven is now broken, and been covered with some plastic for weeks!! The mailboxes were vandalized with spray paint and a big bad word on it... I don't feel safe as I used to. Let alone there are NO amenities or activities ever for kids, but yes for dogs of course, there are.
My fiancé and I have lived here just about a year and loved it at first. The apartments are conveniently located and we loved the open floor plan. Over the last 6 months our experience has done a 180. Management decided to "enforce" their permit parking rules meaning anyone without a permit gets towed and anyone who is parked in no parking gets towed even though there are no where near enough spaces. If the main spots fill up, which they usually do by 8pm, then you have to park on the ramp. just recently there have been no parking signs put on the ramp. so literally there is NO WHERE to park. they give out parking permits like candy and there aren't nearly enough spaces to cover the amount of apartments. Save yourself the trouble of finding parking and don't move here!
I have had the opportunity to live here now for approximately 6 months. The physical appearance of the flats are fine but the property is completely mismanaged. Grounds are covered with cigarettes which they refuse to clean. Parking at this site is ridiculous, they do not have enough spots to fill their leases. You will get towed from this facility as a resident at some point. Save your time and money and live somewhere else trust me.
Anywhere is better than here. I promise. Please for your own sake. We received a bill when we left, then a letter that 'ops we owe YOU money'...now a email that they are sending us to collections. I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Honestly this is one instance that represents virtually every interaction we have had with this company. This is not to mention office managers trying to get into our apartment in the middle of the night drunk without shoes on. This has been a terrifying experience. From the charming email they sent all the renters "ANY car found parked on a curb (whether it be painted red or not) between the hours of 8:00am - 10:00pm will be towed at the owners expense. ANY car parked near or in-front of the trash dumpsters AT ANY TIME will also be towed IMMEDATLY. There will be no future warnings and or exceptions made going further" DON'T LIVE HERE.
Love the fact that this apartment complex is walking distance to the Metro Link and makes going into Denver easy. Been here over a year and love the gym and pool. Is very family and dog friendly, but parking can be an issue sometimes. Staff is also helpful and always around.
The complex itself is really nice and they layouts are awesome! We have lived here for a little over 2 years now and have seen the complex go through 3 different owners. The outside of the complex has gone down hill since the last owners have taken over. Parking is horrible, rules are not followed and are not enforced. Make for living them more and more stressfull. And rent for new clients has sky rocketed.
Conveniently near the light rail, shopping, and Downtown Littleton. Friendly staff who's quick to respond to any needs. Tenants are all different ages. If your lucky you can get a view of the Rockies. Only downfall is parking. If the get home before 8:00 you'll get a spot.
5151 Downtown Littleton is within walking distance to Littleton's charming downtown and light rail station. It has wonderful amenities including a workout room and year-round outdoor pool and hot tub. The apartments are available in a variety of floor plans and sizes. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and effectively. There are a few "hidden" charges in the rent invoice that came as a surprise to me, so be sure to ask for full disclosure. If road noise is a concern, be aware that Santa Fe Boulevard is nearby as are the light rail and regular train tracks.
I have many wonderful things to say about 5151 starting with the unit! It is incredible this being the first time moving out we couldn't have choose such a homey apartment complex! The space is incredible and all the amenities that come with it including the pool! The layouts of the floor plan are outstanding I wouldn't live any other way besides rent free obviously :)! Over all I love where I live and I'm glad I got to make such a easy transition in such a lovely place!
