Excellent Building

When I first moved into the building in 2018, there was a horrible super- would not fix my broken door lock and left the apartment a mess for me on move in day. Within 3 months, a new super was hired, and he’s very responsive, hardworking, and kind. I plan to be here a while.

Cozy building in historic neighborhood

This is an apartment building consisting of one and two bedroom units as well as studio apartments. There are around 70 units total, and the building is within a 2 minute walk from the 163rd street C stop.

Renter Beware!

When I first moved into this building the landlord was wonderful. However, over the years the building has changed hands multiple times and the current management company is horrid! I've had serious violations in my apartment and they refused to fix them (by conveniently forgetting appointments) until I had HPD write them up. Even after all that, many of the issues in my apartment STILL aren't fixed. I've asked several other residents, new and old, and they are ALL having the same issue with the building. This residence would be very nice if the Super and management company would fix things properly and in a timely manner. Unfortunately, they don't seem to care about their investment or their tenants. Can't wait to move!!!
