As its name implies, the Medical District is home to multiple medical facilities including Parkland Memorial Hospital, UT Southwestern Medical Center, and Children’s Medical Center Dallas. The neighborhood is also home to several office buildings. Locals enjoy plenty of restaurant options that range from casual barbecue joints to fine dining establishments, but it’s common for residents to go outside of the neighborhood for an even wider selection. This urban neighborhood boasts an excellent location and is convenient to several of Dallas’ most popular areas including Downtown Dallas, Uptown, and the Design District. Interstate 35E and Medical/Market Center train station make traveling to these hotspots easier. Housing options include apartments, upscale high-rise lofts, and ranch-style houses.

Property Ratings at 5225 Maple
The team takes care of you.
I have lived here 3 years and love it. Management is great and friendly. The maintenance team is fantastic. It's a quiet property and tenants are friendly. Overall it's a wonderfull place to live
I really love this complex the maintenance people are very kind and respectful
The community itself is fine, but it's priced pretty high and outdated even in the newer models.
A little noisy compared to what I expected but overall I am happy here and the price is great!
It's close to the airport, downtown and many expressways. It's relatively clean compared with nearby apartment communities. The community events are fun. And the building is well constructed compared with newer communities in the area.
This community is very well kept and that's a plus
The leasing office has been fantastic and always warm and professional from the moment we first met. The staff is amazing and a big reason I was so eager to rent at this complex. Adam and Scott are amazing!
Nice location the grounds are nice seems to be a Quiet community
Would: Good location, pretty quiet, very nice staff. Would not: hard to move into with only 2 elevators at opposite sides of building, narrow 90 degree turns in halls.
It was small, it was quaint, and very much like home.
This complex is close to everything and that'??s important to me.
It is very close to the hospitals and is a good option for students.
I loved the location, office staff was amazing and the community was well maintained. Nina deserves a raise!
I am very happy living here (11 years in September). I truly appreciate how friendly and accommodating everyone is (Staff).
Screening process is very cumbersome. If you are not a US Citizen, the application form does not have a space to include SSN for a proper screening to be done to run the credit score. The screening company that is used is very unhelpful
I have zero complaints about living here. The office has always been helpful and all maintenance requests are fulfilled promptly. Once my lease is up, I hope to sign on for another year.
I like small community's where it's more intimate to work with staff versus bigger community's where it gets pushed off. Everyone at 5225 Maple is phenomenal at what they do and how they take care of us.
The property was clean & it felt like a wonderful community.
They need more dog bags in several locations throughout the community and a bigger dog run. Also, more trash cans because people throw their trash out in the parking lot. Clean the hallways more often. There are stains in the hallways from spills and pet accidents that get left for weeks.
I would not recommend this apt complex due to the fact, the number of homeless people is rising in that area. Unsafe to walk outside the complex.
It's not too big of a community with neighbors that aren't inconsiderate of other people and with a smaller community, management can handle all inquiries in a timely manner if necessary. It's clean, in a great area, and convenient location to a lot of amenities necessary.
I love my apartment and neighbors. The staff has been kind and considerate to my needs
It's not too big, everyone is helpful and friendly, perfect size in a perfect community.
So far, the community has been a warm welcome and the apartment has been above my expectations. I've enjoyed my stay so far and I hope to continue enjoying it.
YES
The gate had been slamming for months before I submitted the request and took several weeks to fix. I guess there was a part that needed to be ordered to fix it, but it seems like the pedestrian gate design is poor since they seem to break and slam often.
The Management Team works very hard to keep this community looking and running well. I applaud their professionalism.
I would recommend the apartment because it is a high quality apartment for a great price.
The staff here is amazing especially Nina the property manager and Alexis the assistant manager this apartment was my first apartment ever and would honestly if I had a friend asking today recomend this community. I never do surveys of any sort however I feel they both deserved to be acknowledged so I decided to do this one.
Service guys are very friendly and respectable. I would recommend this property for the way all the staff treat you like family.
Pet control has always been and continues to be an issue. Some residents with pets do not respect the other residents and rules of the complex such as not having pets in the courtyard area. More could be done such as having signs at the entrances to the courtyard to that effect and fines for those who do not comply. I do not want to watch pets do their business from my windows or patio.
I would recommend due to location and management staff. I love the pool area and it is better than some newer properties in my opinion.
I would recommend the apartment community because it seems like a very good place to live in and it looks like a nice neighborhood.
Good location, nice overall apartment, poorly finished, slow repairs upon movein.
Good value. Good location. Awesome office staff.
I have resided at this property for 7 years based in part on the professionalism of staff.
Nice apartments, convenient grocery store, nice neighbors, quiet buildings
I have lived at 5225 for the past 5 years and it has been a good experience. Most of my friends that live in apartments require covered parking that is included. Also, the AT&T clause is a drawback for many.
Beautiful property...super well maintained...and a wonderful value for the location. It is so accessible to the business that I own, the airports, downtown, I could not ask for a better location. I have an upgraded apartment and it is more than competitive with the newer builds around...plus more square footage for the price and I love the courtyard. unlike some newer apartments down the street....renters are not "stuck" with a view of the back of Church's fried chicken. We have so much more "green space" and it is maintained extremely well. Nice size community...most people are extremely courteous and as one would expect with a property that has many long time residents...they are interested in keeping this place a warm, inviting, nice place to live.
I love my apartments. I've lived here for 4 years. It's close to I35 freeway, uptown, downtown. There's never traffic to and from my job
Overall, I think 5225 Maple is a great place to live. Maintenance is ALWAYS completed work order requests in a timely fashion. Location is pretty centralized within the city so it takes no time to get around. Also, if you prefer less noise during the spring/summer months, choose a unit that is not close to the community areas. There is a courtesy officer for noise control, etc. The office staff is amazing as well and they always answer the phone and respond to e-mails; really awesome group of women that work in the office. There is loft style units, which has concrete floors and exposed HVACs and there are other units that are more updated and traditional.
This is a quiet community overall. It has an active community association that hosts a few free events each month. Brunches or watermelon by the mail boxes, tv nights. The building layout is not friendly though. Trash chutes only on 2 sides of the block like complex. Wheel chair friendly hall ways - but just poorly designed for regular day to day walking around within complex. Major downside is that the community has a contract with ATT Uverse so there aren't other options (even though some services may be cheaper). But the management staff is responsive and takes care of maintenance issues quickly.
