About This Property

Available September 1st - for lease is a 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath townhouse in La Mesa’s Strawberry Hills Complex on Baltimore Drive. This is a two-story end unit with a 2-car attached garage with space for a washer and dryer (all electric unit), not included. The unit has central heat and air conditioning and includes a refrigerator and dishwasher (no microwave). All kitchen appliances pictured are in the process of being replaced and will ALL be new. The complex has a swimming pool and has close access to Interstate 8 at Fletcher Parkway. The unit has wood & tile floors downstairs and carpet upstairs. Open floor plan downstairs includes the kitchen, dining and family room and ½ bath. A small patio off the dining room will fit a BBQ and small bistro set. The large master bedroom has both a walk-in closet and a sliding door closet with separate vanity and bath area. The two additional upstairs bedrooms both have large mirrored closet doors and they share a full bathroom. Both upstairs bathrooms have granite topped vanities, tile floors and full shower/tub enclosures. Rent of $3,300 includes HOA fees, trash and sewer. Tenant will pay for all other utilities such as electricity, water, and phone. The entire unit is electric. Tenants must also purchase renter’s insurance per HOA rules and regulations. Parking for a third vehicle in the complex must be applied for and is an additional monthly fee of approximately $40, if approved (which is not guaranteed). No work trucks, boats, recreational vehicles, campers, etc. of any kind are allowed in the common area. First and last month’s rent and a security deposit of $2,000 are required. Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis and will require an additional non-refundable deposit of $200 and must adhere with HOA CC&Rs at all times. Interested applicants must complete a rental application and pay (in cash or Venmo) a non-refundable credit background check fee of $40 per adult on the lease, which is not part of the first month’s rent or security deposit and is not refundable if not selected to be a tenant. When lease term expires, the rental becomes month-to-month. This rental is from a private party, not a property management company. Applicants should have good rental references, no history of evictions, and a strong credit history with no history of late payments. Applicants in general should make two times rent (based on gross pay) and will be required to support income from support such as recent paystubs, bank account statements and tax returns.
