Property Ratings at 565 Penn Residences
Overall, very satisfied, but it is a big city apartment building with a few quirks and issues, most probably due to our inexperience in this realm. To sum up: we like living here and would do it again.
Really great! Due to the building being owned by JHU there are some inconvenient disruptions, but the 565 team is really amenable to suggestions and communication!
So far it’s great and the service is very efficient, quick and courteous. The view from the rooftop is perfect, unique and the best place to see the entire city.
After living here a few months, I couldn't be happier! The neighborhood is quiet, the concierge staff is always friendly, the apartment units are well maintained and have all the amenities you could need. It feels so luxurious to be living right on Pennsylvania Ave at 565 Penn!

We always strive to provide top quality service to every resident and guest and we are so thrilled to hear that you have enjoyed your experience here at 565 Penn Residences!
I had the pleasure of experiencing the exquisite 565 Pennsylvania Residence, and I must say, it was truly exceptional. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was greeted by an atmosphere of luxury and comfort that enveloped me throughout my stay. The residence's design seamlessly blended modern aesthetics with a warm and inviting ambiance. The interior spaces were thoughtfully laid out, creating a perfect balance between open, communal areas and cozy private retreats. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the high-end finishes to the carefully curated decor that added a touch of elegance. One of the standout features was undoubtedly the breathtaking views that the residence offered. Whether it was from the spacious living room, the well-appointed bedrooms, or the charming balcony, each vantage point provided a picturesque vista of the surrounding landscape. It was truly a treat to wake up to such beauty every morning.

Hi, thank you so much for your high rating! If you ever need anything else from us, please feel free to give us a call or stop by. Have an awesome day!
This is a good place to live, however, the rat problem has becoming increasingly troublesome (and, yes, we all understand this is a scourge throughout D.C.). Given that part of the issue is due to construction by the building's owner, it seems appropriate that they should take greater steps to combat what is both a health and well-being concern. One small, but immediately effective step would be to ask the City to remove the two trash cans in front of the building's entrance. Another may be better maintenance of port-a-johns dotting the construction site and increased placement of traps, baits, etc. Again, this is a good place to live with a responsive staff. Still, much has been asked of tenants in regards to ongoing construction without adequate recompense for a multitude of inconveniences. Greater care of community, including taking the aforementioned steps, will go along way to address many residents concerns.

Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time to review us. We are understand your request for our team to do what is within our control to help keep our community pest free. In addition to our regular pest control services that already include bait stations in common areas of the community, and additional treatments as needed, we will consider the suggestions you have made. Thanks for providing constructive information in an effort to help us improve. -Daniel Barge Property Manager 565 Penn Residences
Staff is very friendly, and the gym usually has nobody in it. More room for me since I usually go about 6 days a week. Located really close to the national mall and entertainment, so lots to do!

Love it here except the construction. The glass is very thick and really helps but it's loud. The staff is excellent. Everyone went out of the way to make my move easy.

Thank you so much for your generous review! I have relayed your kind words to the concierge, leasing, and maintenance teams who all have stated it is their absolute pleasure to assist in any and every way possible.
Having construction on either side of the building is very disruptive each day (always some sort of noise - jackhammering, drilling, hammering, etc.). There are countless elevator and AC issues that have occurred due to the construction as well. Although this is not something Bozzuto can control, many residents inquired about construction prior to moving in and were told there was no construction despite this being a planned purchase and multi-year endeavor. While Bozzuto is doing what they can to communicate any foreseen issues, the unforeseen issues far surpasses. If given the choice, I would not sign a lease as a new resident.
