I love living here. I will and have referred people to move it. I am so grateful beyond measures. Everyone is nice and welcomed me with open arms. It' a big family here. That' what I truly love about this place.
My boyfriend and I have been living here since March. Coronavirus has limited many of the amenities, which sucks. It would be nice if they could give a small credit/refund because of that, but I guess that would be laughable to expect. Overall, we are happy and would recommend this complex. Pros: -area is nice for walking outdoors with my dog -apartment finishes are nice-looking, love the layout -we feel very safe/secure. We like the indoor halls and that it's just one big building instead of many small ones. Parking garage is well-lit. -maintenance is well-run Cons: -rules are not enforced as much as they could be (valet trash procedures, dog poop, parking) -propane is often out at the grills, which is frustrating -the carpeted halls can trap gross smells and were quite dirty until they were recently steam-cleaned.
This place is SO much nicer than our old apartment, we have so much more room, and the price is so reasonable! We also love living in a smaller community.
I like it, it is nice, looks clean, everybody friendly and professional.
I would not recommend these apartments for too the amount of street noise from Almeda. The new staff is no where near as responsive and friendly as Yessica was. The hallway carpets were not cleaned enough.
In fact, my daughter continue living in the same apartment I used to live. She is very happy to be enjoying a wonderful location, the new yoga class schedule, the safety and awesome caring of all the Almeda Personnel. I have an excuse to be invited by my daughter to enjoy some weekend and enjoy great memorable moments at Lincoln Apartments' Almeda Location and a Global Community of Residents from all around the world. Thank you very much.
I think this apartment is in a safe location with easy access to many parts of the Houston area including Hermann Park. However the rate is steep and for this reason I would hesitate to recommend this apartment to others.
I would recommend it because of the location, amenities, staff and overall environment of the place.
I just renewed my lease for another year. The amenities are incredible and the staff is really kind. The maintenance man are so attentive and timely. This is just simply a great place to live! They even have super fun activities every month for residence. Not to mention, the pool is the best thing ever. -Katie

5755 offers a great homey atmosphere. It has a warm and welcoming community, the epitome of southern hospitality. It's perfectly located close to the medical center and museum district. I can't wait to call 5755 home, my abode to chill, relax, and re-emerging in the midst of studying for graduate school.

Overall I enjoyed living at 5755 Almeda. The location was excellent. It was close to everything (the jogging trail at Hermann Park, family, friends, volunteer activities, church, hair salon). I also enjoyed the proximity of the parking garage. It was really convenient to be able to walk directly to my apartment from my car in the garage. The major drawback for me was noisy neighbors/poor noise control. My quality of life at the apartment was greatly diminished by disruptive neighbors upstairs who would slam bathroom cabinet doors or bedroom furniture drawers in the middle of the night, drop things or jump just over my living room, or walk all night over the bedroom. Although I moved to your property from a house, I have lived in apartments before and never had such experiences. I realize that not all residents had experiences like mine. It all depends on who is living above you. The other complaint is actually related to my post-moveout experience. I have mailed to you the requested payment of $85.97. However, I do not believe I am responsible for the carpet stains because I did not have a pet and those spots were actually located under my bedroom furniture. I believe the stains were likely in the carpet when I moved into the apartment.
I already do recommend the community to my friends all the time :)

I thought the setup was outstanding. Everything looked new and fresh. The workout facility, the lounge area was great. i loved it.
Based on other experiences at different apartment communities, I can say this has been the best experience for me.
I've lived here for 2 years and now moving out. They USED to have security every night but as of April 2018 there is no longer security. They hire security only for a couple days after an incident occurs. There are car break-ins at least monthly, so I guess you can say security is there a few days a week every month. Also, the walls are thin and the grills never have propane. Also, when it comes time to renew, rate go up drastically. You can find much safer and better-quality apartment for this rate.
Don't let them fool you when they say they hired security at night. It's only for a few days after an incident. The onsite security guard does not respond to anything as well. This is the most unsafe apartment community in museum district/med center/ hermann park area and it's because management is incompetent. Constant break ins and management shrugs their shoulder as if they don't know why. Since its the third wave of management, let's see if they can get it right: #1 HIRE SECURITY AGAIN! #2 Stop adding more OUTSIDE VENDORS to the list of ACCESSING THE GROUNDS. Here are your vendors: You have the food truck guy who's loud run-down truck does nothing but make you want to shut your windows from the exhaust and noise, valet trash who has a key fob and access to every floor after hours, one random man who hand washes cars in the garage blocking traffic also after hours, and the so-called "personal trainer" at the gym who trains his friends that don't even live there as he blocks off the whole gym during peak hours. The funny thing is, the maid who actually cleans the whole building flags people down to get in every morning because she doesn't have a key fob. WAKE UP LINCOLN MANAGEMENT.

I would highly recommend this apartment community because it truly does feel like a ?community? of people. The staff treat you as if everything you said or requested mattered greatly and they go out of their way to serve you. I have been highly impressed by the level of service I have received as well as the well-kept, cleanly, and comfortable environment I have enjoyed calling my home at 5755 Hermann Park!

The rent for my unit was high compared to similar units nearby. There is no easy access to Hermann Park; no sidewalk from the community to the nearest crosswalk.
Rent is higher than comparable apartments in the neighborhood. If the rent were more competitive I would recommend.
I love living at 5755 Hermann Park. All I would like to see in the future is more reliable elevator.

It's expensive. A lot of people smoke weed on my floor(6th) and you can frequently smell it

I need a more family friendly community space—specifically for small children. On rainy or cold days our options are extremely limited here. There is also no outdoor play space that is safely contained from the swimming pool.
Horrible place - Paper thin walls - Unfriendly Maintenance men - I can't tell you how many times the shuttle driver has almost hit me inside of the parking garage. He speeds constantly throughout the parking garage, takes up people's handicap spaces, and blindly takes wide turns in tight corners of the garage. Save yourself a headache and just pick somewhere else. More specifically, Vantage at the med center, the Mosiac South tower features condos that include all bills paid and furniture for no extra cost (if you'd like) for the exact same price I'm paying here. ( Many more places that are nicer and safer)
Exercise is an essential part of my daily routine. I notice we don't have a 'Leg press machine' and a ' Leg curl machine'. It would be awesome if we can purchase these leg equipments. Thank you.
I would definitely recommend this apartment community. The Only thing I would had liked is to have had a better promotion applied to me becuause I move one week before the administration changed, only applying one month free instead of three months free discount , when I most needed it because of having moved before my due date physically having to paid the difference at my previous apparrmenr and the new rent besides the moving expenses. Damaging my Personal economy.
I would recommend because of the location. I am hesitant to recommend based on the multiple occurrences of vandalism in the parking garage and the garage gates are always broken. However, since the guard has been here on a consistent basis we have not been informed of any issues so I am not as reluctant as I once was.
FROM THE VANDALIZATIONS, CLEANLINESS OF THE GARAGE, AND CONSTANT GATE PROBLEMS I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY. THE PRICE THAT YOU WILL PAY, FOR ALL OF THESE INCONSISTENCIES ONE SHOULD LOOK ELSEWHERE. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THE PROPERTY IS THE LOCATION.

If you are looking for a safe place where your property like cars, SUVs or trucks are safe this is not the place - numerous automobiles burglarized, broken windows, management seemingly sympathetic but unable to provide safety/security that one would expect from a place like this, moreover, the lack of security can end up putting the tenants in the harm's way.
