About This Property
Welcome to Maison Court, a luxurious 4,324 sqft duplex located on the historic site of the Lone Star Cafe, where legends like the Rolling Stones and Willie Nelson once performed. This 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath residence is part of a boutique building with just four units, offering a blend of modern design and historical charm. Enjoy expansive living spaces, en-suite bedrooms, and floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the interiors with natural light. The convenience of a private keyed elevator provides direct access to the home. At the heart of the home is an open-concept kitchen and living area, equipped with custom cabinetry, professional-grade appliances, and a Gaggenau wine chiller. A Calacatta Cremo marble wood-burning fireplace adds warmth and character to the living space. The first level includes a corner living room, open dining room, chef’s kitchen, laundry room, and a versatile library/den or guest bedroom. Upstairs, the Master bedroom suite features private dressing rooms, a study/office, and a 5-fixture marbled bathroom with a steam shower, radiant heated floors, a recessed tub, and heated towel bars. Two additional bedrooms, each with generous closets and en-suite baths with radiant-heated floors and marble finishes, complete this level. Pets are allowed with approval and a one-time $300 charge. Family-friendly amenities such as Pack ’n Play, baby gate, and high chair are available upon request for an additional fee. For stays of 60 nights or longer, a full mid-stay cleaning is required every 30 days, with fees invoiced prior to the service. Located in the heart of Greenwich Village, the neighborhood is known for its tree-lined streets and vibrant history as the epicenter of the city's 1960s counterculture movement. Today, it is a hub of popular cafes, bars, and restaurants, with jazz clubs and Off-Broadway theaters nestled amid brownstones and New York University buildings. At its heart is Washington Square Park, a lively gathering place with a central plaza, and the neighborhood proudly displays its LGBT-friendly vibe.
