I recently moved into the apartment in March. And first off the space in the apartment, I live in a 2 bed 1 bath, is huge. Secondly, since moving into the apartment I have noticed so much with the community and how the new owners act with tenants. - Hannah #105

Price is OK for the space you get but missing your own personal washing machine/ dryer in your apartment. Sharing a washer and dryer with every one can be difficult at times

If you get a newly renovated apartment, the renovations are poorly and cheaply done. Terrible management and that’s if you can actually speak to anyone on the phone. It’s a game of cat and mouse just to contact someone. Laundry rooms are incredibly dirty, water damage throughout the building and outdoor awnings are falling apart. The same amount for rent can get you a way better apartment elsewhere.

I paid the $50 to apply, but was then unable to get a single person from Regency on the phone. I was supposed to have a tour the next day, but never received a link or phone call or anything. I can reach Tricap residential group, but they have almost no useful information and were unable to connect me with anyone at 611. They do have one # for a 611 agent, but it goes to voicemail every time. One agent has emailed me back a few times repeatedly asking for documents I can't provide. I've left voicemails and texts and sent emails requesting that somebody call me. I will absolutely be disputing the charge for the application.

washing machines constantly broken, they just jacked up our rent (like 100 bucks per month during the pandemic!) for no reason, bad communication, crappy facilities. go somewhere else if you want management that actually cares about its residents. This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in.

We lived here for a long time, apartment was good and very spacious, maintenance was always on time and the staff was very friendly. Neighborhood was quiet and there were a lot of deer herds in the area.
The apartments are down-right outdated. Appliances fell apart the moment I moved in. The baseboard heating systems bang constantly and management is quite rude. They think putting signs on things solves problems that should actually be fixed. Neighbors don't follow simple rules and management does nothing to enforce them. Also, you can practically hear everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) your neighbors do so be sure to have earplugs when you want peace and quiet.
I've never actually written a review for ANYTHING, but this is by far the worst apartment I've lived in. They're extremely outdated, especially the kitchens and bathrooms, and are not worth the high-price. Walls are so thin that I can hear neighbors snoring. People in the buildings smoke weed, which stinks up the hallways..they leave trash and clothes in the halls, and have no regard for noise levels. Tenants are rude as well. Onto the staff: Rude and uncaring about problems you have. They take days to respond to emails and don't follow up or follow through with maintenance requests. Hot water only lasts about 5-10 minutes, and although you have free heating, they don't turn it on until weeks after the cold temperatures actually start. I spent at least two weeks with my apartment at 64 degrees. The grounds look nice but beware of the family of deer that "live" on the premises. There have been multiple times where I have walked out the door to deer (sometimes aggressive) standing right by the porch. There's a no pet policy, but multiple tenants have loud, barking dogs inside. Sidewalks don't get shoveled properly and the outside of a lot of buildings are literally falling apart. PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY BY CHOOSING ELSEWHERE
I lived at Regency Square for 2 years and I loved it! I am a woman in her early twenties, and lived here with a roommate. The apartments were spacious, and the grounds were well kept. It was even great in the winter, they would keep it plowed and the sidewalks clear. These apartments are also in a good location, if you are looking to go to Portage, WMU, or downtown. Regency Square was also very quiet, and we never had noise issues with the neighbors. The appliances (depending on what apartment you get) are a bit old or outdated, but everything worked find. The only downside I would say is the laundry. There is one laundry room per floor, and it is coin operated, but it wasn't too bad. Overall my experience with Regency Square was excellent!
