First floor with parking just outside the door, access to an incredible deck with gas grill and view of the blue mountains, very energy efficient. No Pets and absolutely no smoking in the apartment. This apartment is in the first floor of a 3 story house in downtown Palmerton. You can walk to bars/shopping/etc in just a few minutes. The upper two floors are another apartment occupied by long term excellent tenants. Recently remodeled throughout with new carpeting in both bedrooms new flooring in the living room new carpet in bedrooms new windows kitchen cabinets and counters, new self cleaning electric range, etc. Everything in the apartment has been updated within the past 3 years. One off street parking space right next to your door and more along the street. One additional off-street parking space is available at an extra charge. It is a great little quirky apartment with good colors in a convenient package. Excellent for someone who needs parking very close to the entry/kitchen door and only one step up into the living area. This apartment is just at the first part of Palmerton just off route 248 and so it is very easy access to Allentown, Lehighton, just 15 mins from the Mahoning Valley turnpike exit. Owner installs a 12k BTU air conditioner in Spring and Removes in Fall. There is no yard space other than the elevated deck which is behind the property next door. I do own about 2 acres attached to this property that you would be welcome to explore. Looking for quality tenants with great history and FULL documentation. Only applicants with an excellent documentable history are considered. You have shared use of an amazing wood deck with gas grill provided by the owner.. with landscape lights and a killer view of the blue mountains. Owner lives next door. Absolutely no smoking in the house and absolutely no pets. Owner pays water/sewer/trash. Stated monthly rent is for double occupancy. 25/month each additional person up to a maximum of 4. Maximum of 2 adults. Average Monthly Electric is between 90 and 135 based on the numbers from PPL (Heat Light Hot Water) this is an average and will be much lower in summer and higher in winter. A note about the parking.. only small to mid size cars will fit.. the spaces are narrow to maximize spaces so if you have a big vehicle such as a truck or suv it will need to be parked in the street. 1 months rent plus 1-month security deposit required to move in. One year lease minimum. Rent includes water sewer and trash collection. Electric and cable TV to be paid by the tenant (the apartment has electric baseboard heat and hot water heater) I provide a 12000 btu window air conditioner which will be placed in the living room window by the owner in the spring and removed in the fall. This is more than adequate to cool the entire place. Any prospective tenant would need to provide documentation including work history (pay stubs for 6 months minimum) credit report and prior rental history.
