The Financial District sits at the tip of Lower Manhattan. It is the oldest part of New York City – the city was created here in 1624. Known as the world’s center of finance, the district is home to the largest stock exchange in the world, the New York Stock Exchange. Sometimes referred to as FiDi, the district contains a variety of high-end restaurants and bars along Wall Street, popular hangouts for those working at the exchange.
Many landmarks are in the Financial District, including One World Trade Center, The National 9/11 Memorial and Museum, the Ellis Island National Immigration Museum, the Castle Clinton National Monument, and Battery Park. National Historic Sites include St. Paul’s Chapel, founded in 1766 and visited by George Washington after his inauguration in 1789. Stone Street, one of New York’s oldest streets, is a historic district, first paved in 1658.
Because so much is happening in the Financial District, it is packed with residents, workers, and tourists.

Property Ratings at 63 Wall Street
I moved in a few months ago and have nothing but good things to say. Cannot beat the location, staff, or amenities!
The location is great and the staff are mostly fine. However, throughout 2021 one of the elevators was permanently broken with another intermittently out. This led to long waits and considerable crowding. Further rent increases very steep, this year they asked to increase my rent by 20% at short notice.
would have been much higher if amenities were included in rent and if the elevators were reliable.
I really like the staff. They are very attentive. The building is maintained well.
The speakeasy and the gym are nice. The location and prestige felt nice while we still had a Wall Street entrance.
I loved the neighborhood and the apartment. It met all my needs and I really enjoyed living in the building. If I wouldn't have had to move for work I would have stayed in the building for a long time.
good building, not the best management. Managements squeezes money out of residents anyway they can
Management and staff are so responsive & friendly! Love all the friendly doormen as well.
Love living here! Staff is so friendly, there are so many things to do, and everything is so well kept. Lobby looks amazing!
I would recommend this apartment community because it's a wonderful place to live, but I also would not recommend because I feel the amount of square footage you get in each apartment is too little for the price
The building is fantastic, amenities are great, but I think the staff needs to step up and provide a better service. In particular disappointed by the mail room organisation and the lack of follow up by doormen/super with any issue raised.
Only issue is how light the walls are. I can hear every noise from other apartments.
It's quiet and, especially important to me, a fireproof building.
The average age of renters skews young. Ideally, I would like to see a quieter more respectful of your neighbors apartment community.
Location, team is very nice and great. Amenities are great, although could be crowded sometimes.
Recently the elevators have hardly worked and there has been construction on our floor for months - normally would be more positive.
Signing lease was very poorly communicated and managed. No one gave me a move-in inspection, which was weird. It's a beautiful space, but I don't like the amenity fee, and the apartment is quite pricey for what you get without the fee. The front desk staff are pretty variable in terms of how nice / agreeable they are, and it often feels like they're not on my side and everything has to be an altercation. I haven't ever yelled at them, and have in the end had fine experiences but I know from the building that not everyone is as pleased. Management is also not very responsive -- I was sent an aggressive letter about my ESA being loud, and followed up for more details via phone and e-mail but no one got back to me. In the end, it's going to be a nothing burger because she's not loud, but I wish they'd have been as prompt to reply to me as they were to serve me a notice that I had a "disruptive" animal.
This is one of the best living environments I have ever been a part of. The staff is wonderful, the amenities are top-notch and the constant feeling of welcomeness and inclusivity is shown daily through the different events and services. I love living here.
Yes, however I would tell them that over the summer the rooftop deck (which is a major selling point) turns into a fraternity party! People invite A LOT of outside guests and blast music, which is uncomfortable and not appropriate.
Everyone in the leasing staff is professional yet personal and I would recommend 10/10 I'm very impressed
Overall seems overpriced. Also doormen do not particularly monitor entry to the building
It's a great and clean apartment building. But management is non-responsive on most communication with tenants and there are inconsistencies in almost every monthly bill. Please communicate more with what is happening and the building such as amenities and how they will be charged. Our amenity fees keep getting deducted for different things each month.
Everything about the building and living community is great. The only downside is the charge for amenities which most similar buildings, both in and outside of our neighborhood, offer free to residents. Said charge, if there NEEDS to be one, is also ridiculously high given what we already pay to live in the building.
Elevators were disfunctional most of the time I lived there
The apartment is exactly what we wanted and the staff is friendly and always helpful. This is a great place to live in NYC.
-great amenities -fair price -nice apartment Only reason we would not recommend is due to added amenity fee
I enjoyed the building and the apartment, and the location was great. However, elevators were a constant frustration and the extra charge for access to the building facilities (including the sub-par gym) felt a little money grabbing which put me off a renewal.
The area is safe, the building it?s renovated. When some client love to have a or some pet will be better that corridor of floor, also washer machine and dryers needed cleaning.
I've already recommended this building to a friend. The location is great. The building has fantastic amenities and the apartment has beautiful finishes.
Good spaces and amenities but exhausting move-in process. Lots of construction to come so that's definitely a negative.
YES
It?s a good community building but over the last 4 years standards have slipped. Doormen are far too relaxed and unprofessional. Elevators are appalling as so frequently broken and new amenities are not worth the cost or wait it took for them to arrive. I?d recommend better buildings for the avg rent, but if someone wanted to live there I?d suppprt them.
The service was excellent, the location is perfect and the apartments have beautiful finishes. Also they pay the broker fee so it saves money
I would because the renovated apartments are great, the maintenance staff are the best and the amenities experience can easily be improved (specially now that they are open). 67 Wall Street still should have access to their own laundry/dry cleaning area though.
i love living here, i have considered these building my home for over 2 yrs.
Related to my note above, I would recommend the apartment building if it were someone coming into the city for the first time, early in his/her career. I wouldn't recommend the apartment if he/she were a bit further along in their career or someone who wants to settle in with a significant other.
as stated previously the staff in the leasing office does not respond timely and i did not feel like a priority, but the building and amenities are lovely
Based on the location, unit itself and available amenities, I would recommend this community. But I know this would most likely be out of my friends' price point.
Jaime was so sweet and helpful. She really helped us find the perfect apartment. They are all so kind in the leasing office and are very welcoming. The building is beautiful and such a great community. I am beyond excited to live here.
I really like the building and likely would suggest it to people however I did feel that the apartments were definitely a bit smaller than others I saw in the area and most of the other buildings don't charge for all the amenities the way this building did. We ultimately decided to not sign a lease at this building mostly for these reasons.
I loved the location, attentive staff and well appointed amenities, but I felt the rental price was to high compared to similar buildings in the area. If I was offered a concessions to stay I would of considered renewing.
it is a little pricey for ammenities such as summer sky deck and gym not to be included but otherwise is a great place to live
It feels safe and looks nice. However the roof doesn't feel like it's worth paying for monthly and the laundry room in 67 should be back already.
Live on the island of Manhattan, while having the peace of the outer boroughs...This place is near every train that you'd need, to get around the city, yet there is plenty of room to walk around the neighborhood.
The doormen are generally great but our apartment stays tiny and our rent shoots up every year.
