Here at our Camaliti Cottage you will experience a tranquil monthly/month to month getaway in this charming 100 yr old home. Full privacy is created by thick mature trees & bushes on and surrounding our 4 acres in the country side. This wonderful furnished home is available for monthly vacations, traveling professionals, couples, a small family with older children (old house not appropriate for young children), or moderately chemically sensitive people looking for a short/medium term home between December 1, 2024 to May 31, 2025. Signed lease and refundable security deposit of $2,000.00 is required. Monthly rent is $2,300.00. This includes a fully furnished home with laundry, oil for heat, cooking propane, well water (recently tested and is great), trash and recycle service, and wifi. You pay your metered electric. It's hard to believe how close you are to great experiences in Saratoga Springs, Lake Desolation, Adirondack Mountains & more. We are dedicated to support the well being of all our guests & the environment. One way we do this is asking all our guests to refrain from wearing synthetic fragrances. Our fully furnished Eco Friendly Cottage comes with a full kitchen, dining area, cozy living room, 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, laundry room, and a study. You will find unique character with wide plank wood floors, built in bookshelves, and lots of old time homey country flair. Our nearly 4 acres offers all the peace and quiet you need; with private back deck for hanging out in the fresh air and a fire pit to make those yummy s'mores. Lots of books, board games, and TV to keep you occupied on those rainy days too. * One bedroom down stairs has comfortable queen bed, cedar closet, linens, and other furnishings. * The second downstairs bedroom also has a a comfortable queen bed, cedar closet, linens, and other furnishings. * Near the first bedroom is a charming full bath and towels. * Near the second bedroom is a full laundry room with iron and iron board. * The third bedroom upstairs offers 2 cozy twin beds, built in shelves, linens, and other furnishings. FYI- the ceilings are low on 2nd floor. * Off the upstairs bedroom is a 1/2 bath. * At the other end of the upstairs is a quiet study with a desk, other furnishings, and a lovely window to gaze out of while you work- good luck focusing on your work. ;>) * Back downstairs you will find a kitchen full of all the items you might need to cook your yummy dishes. * Off the kitchen is a dining room with a china cabinet, stain-glass ceiling light, and other items that make you feel like you are in the country. We have to ask that you do not use the wood stove as it is out of order. Sorry * Off the dinning area is a relaxing and comfortable living room full of books, games, TV, and large windows to gaze out into the beautiful yard. Perhaps the deer will come visit while you are there too. We are located 8 minutes to Lake Desolation, 15 minutes to Saratoga Springs, 17 minutes to West Mountain Ski Resort, 19 minutes to SPAC, 20 minutes to Saratoga Race Track, 23 minutes to Saratoga Lake, 33 minutes to Six Flags Great Escape in Lake George, 37 minutes to Lake George, 40 minutes to Sacandaga Lake. So many wonderful things to explore close by. We care for the well being of all, including the environment. We offer a reusable cooler for your picnic, shopping, and race track all day excursions, reusable shopping bags, recycling, and more. We super appreciate you refraining from wearing synthetic fragrances so other visitors, who have allergies, lung, or heart conditions, aren't negatively affected. The Cottage has been cleaned with cleaners that are free of chemicals and fragrance which are healthier for you and the environment. If you have any questions or concerns about being fragrance free during your stay, we would LOVE to help you understand and feel better about that. Please reach out with ANY questions or concerns. There are no pets allowed (unless pre-approved) and there is ABSOLUTELY no smoking (this includes the use of tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, etc.). Thank you so much for your understanding. You may use the first and second floor of the Cottage, back deck, yard, and fire pit. Yard isn't fenced. Guests may not use the basement, garage, or barn. We ask that you give the grounds keeper (who lives in the cabin up the hill on the property) the same privacy he will give you. Thank you
