A sun-filled patch of desert surrounded by mountains, Palm Springs naturally developed as a resort town. Tourism is still the biggest industry, with a variety of hotels, events, and the Palm Springs Convention Center welcoming thousands to the area. Popular events include the Palm Springs International Film Festival and the Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade.
Of course, living in a Palm Springs apartment means you'll have easy access to these festivals and events. But you'll also enjoy everything this spot in the Sonoran Desert offers -- its hot springs, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, the Palm Springs Art Museum, and the beautiful Mount San Jacinto State Park. If you enjoy hiking, you'll love the Cactus to Clouds Trail, which leads to the top of the San Jacinto Peak from Palm Springs -- to an elevation of 10,300 feet.
Palm Springs is roughly an hour southeast of Los Angeles, and has long been a getaway for celebrities and movie stars.

Property Ratings at 641 North Palm Canyon Drive
Security-Multiple Amazon packages have been stolen. NO security cameras, even though there are signs stating there are. Can’t leave your bike at the bike rack on cause they get stolen, including two expensive mountain bikes. People constantly using this place as a walk through from N Palm Canyon to North Belardo Road. Pool-looks NOTHING like the photos. The gate around it has broken bars in one area that homeless slip through and can get in to use the pool to wash up. Looks like there used to be a hot tub but it’s been paved over. There are 4 regular sitting chairs out there, nothing else. Landscaping-The back building is better than the front building on North Palm Canyon side. The back building has grass and trees and bushes, while the front building has sand and dead chopped off trees and bushes. Also there are cigarette butts all over the property. Parking-You pay for a reserved parking spot. There are more units than parking spots. If you don’t get a spot you have to park in a dirt lot off North Belardo, basically off property. I was promised a reserved spot when I moved in but they didn’t realize all the reserved spots were already rented out. Apartments-Do NOT get an apartment in the front building. There are two stories and you can hear EVERYTHING between the upstairs and downstairs apartments. There’s more sound proofing in between the apartment walls than the floors. I can hear my upstairs neighbors every footstep. They have told me they can even hear my phone alarm in the morning that wakes them up. Every apartment complex I’ve ever lived in always requires an 80% floor coverage of the apartment with floor pads and rugs if you lived on the 2nd floor. They need to install carpeting and some thick carpet pads on the 2nd floor units, since you can hear EVERYTHING. Dirt-expect to bring in dirt and dust when I walk in. What I didn’t expect was the front doors to have large gaps in between the framing and the door that lets in large amount of dust and dirt if it’s ever windy outside. The windows are uneven in places which also allows that dirt and dust in. I’ve never dusted so much in one apartment. Misc-Dorm fridges in every unit. 4 washer and dryers for 25 apartment. Not enough electrical outlets in apartment. Not enough light fixtures, so you have to put lamps wherever there’s an outlet. Electrical covers that do nothing in the middle(if not higher)on the walls and all over the ceilings. Rent is too HIGH for the amount of space you get.
