Hi Our downtown Madison location is unlike any other! We are only 5 blocks from the Capitol, 2 blocks to the Kohl Center and 4 blocks to Lake Monona. We also have the bike path that runs right in front of our apartments! We are only minutes from restaurants and shops, yet our apartments are rather quiet for a downtown location. We feature 2 laundry rooms on each floor of the building, a large court yard and grass area and a newly remodeled club house for resident social events. One parking stall in underground parking in our heated garage is included in rent! Water and sewer is included, while residents are responsible for heat and electric. Property Ratings at 641 W Main
My apartment is how I imagine Heaven would be. I have lived here since October 1995. It has a delightful kitchen, a cozy dining/living room, three spacious bedrooms (two of which I have converted into an office and an art studio), and two bathrooms. My two children (now grown) moved out in 2006 and I have lived with my cats and birds since then. The carpet in every room is a beautiful sky blue and the walls are white and they showcase countless photographs of my family which now includes photos of my two young grandchildren. Abundant sunshine pours through my windows in the afternoons which face a beautiful courtyard and I enjoy the view of one of our Madison lakes when I sit on my balcony on warm evenings. My apartment has every amenity one could dream of; central air conditioning, a dish washer, a laundry room which is actually a few feet down the hall, and a bonus of wonderful neighbors as this building holds 60 units. I am 65 years old. After my children moved out, as I mentioned, I turned one of their bedrooms into an office where I do my schoolwork and research because I am working toward my B.A.in Theatre and Drama at U.W. Madison. I turned the other bedroom into my own art studio where I paint. The walls are full of my oil paintings, acrylic paintings, and chalk pastels. I have four bookcases and spend my leisure time reading. I love coming home from my several jobs and curling up with a good book or watching one of my favorite movies. The rent is quite high but it is worth every penny to me because this apartment is my Heaven!
