"Deer Alley Trail" provides a short walk that is relatively flat and gives you a view to the open field where deer feed frequently. "Big Spring Trail" is for the hiker and includes a nice climb back up the hill after arriving at the Big Spring. The Big Spring is primarily a wet weather spring but does have a small trickle in the summer. If you complete the Big Spring Trail, your almost to the "Gasconade River Trail". At the riverbank is a steep incline providing you access to fish the Gasconade River from the gravel bar. You can also go wading. There is no boat access from our property but if you are interested, there is public access just a few miles away. The country style, property is remotely located 12 miles NE of Hartville, MO about 1/4 mile of private driveway. Hartville is approximately 1 hour east of Springfield. The small community of Hartville provides access to banks, gasoline, groceries, Dollar General, cafe, Mexican, pizza and more and is the county seat of Wright County. Larger communities in surrounding area include Mountain Grove, Mansfield, Lebanon, Marshfield, Springfield, and Branson. The home is situated on 40 acres with 95% woods and 5% open. There is also restricted access to fishing on the Gasconade River. There are lots of opportunities for the outdoors with hunting for deer, turkey, squirrel, rabbit, various other wildlife, and fishing. Flooring is laminate throughout.
