My first few weeks at 644 City Station have been great. The apartment is nice and spacious and the management team has been very proactive in answering the questions that I have. While rent prices everywhere feel like they are too high, I really feel like you get a comparatively good value for money here, especially considering the location and what you would pay in other complexes downtown. I’m happy to be here and hope to be here for a while!

644 Station has nice, up to date apartments. The woman who gave me a tour was really nice, she answered all my questions confidently and seemed to know what she was talking about. I would like to move here, the gated community make it’s feel a little safer as well.

They charge you for everything, so when you see the “rent” when looking at apartments you basically add $200-250 per month to that number. Plus they upgraded to a smart home system and was a resident lounge and think that justifies increasing the rent. You pay $125 a month for cable and internet, who even uses cable anymore, and you can’t opt out of it to use your own internet provider.

It’s a great place to live. Nato with management is always available for questions and he’s quick at responding. He does a phenomenal job at explaining things and always covers my questions. He’s also very kind and polite. He goes above and beyond for the 644 community. The maintenance team is quick at taking care of my unit and very polite as well. They also seem to have a great connection with management and work very well together making my requests so smooth. The community is a great place to live and even has a dog park which my dog loves. My dog also really enjoys going and visiting Nato in the office when we have a chance. He’s great with dogs.

Moved here in June and has been the best move I have ever done! I love management and I love the maintanence team! So knowledgeable and they respect me and my time. The clubhouse they just opened is immaculate. I also love the dog park! Best apartments in the area.

This property is pretty nice, management does their job incredibly well to make sure that we're taken care of. Cam, Nato, Joe, and Juan are great people that do their best with what they have. The apartment itself is great, good use of space, and is spacious! I'd recommend this place to people who are looking for a slightly bigger-than-normal apartment and nice community management.

I've never lived in an apartment that addressed maintenance requests so quickly. It is practically unheard of nowadays!

I moved out of 644 City Station in June 2023 after living there almost two years. The property is run-down and poorly maintained. My apartment was infested repeatedly with cockroaches and rats, while multiple complaints to management went unaddressed. My locked bike was stolen in broad daylight out of the garage when the garage door and back gate were broken and left open for months. The hallways reek of weed and the trash chutes overflow and clog with garbage every weekend. Expect to be charged for a full apartment cleaning, carpet cleaning, and a paint job when you move out regardless of the condition you leave it in, how long you lived there, or what you were promised about minimal wear and tear when you moved in. Multiple outreach attempts to Greystar corporate go unanswered.

The gentleman in the leasing office was friendly and made me really want to apply for these apartments. Due to unforeseen circumstances I will be moving next year in 2024. This is the place I will be coming to when moving to Utah just because of how I was treated.

Overall living environment is good but when it comes to maintenance it’s take awhile for the workers to fix it

Hi, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around.
This is my favorite place I’ve ever lived. As long as I live in Salt Lake I want to live here. Management is great, always answers questions and responds to feedback, the community is great, and it’s a fantastic location.

Hi there, thank you so much for your positive comments about 644 City Station! If you ever need anything from us, please feel free to give us a call or stop by. Have an awesome day!
I think the workers are friendly but I think it's been rough from the application process to actually different things breaking in the apartment. They have fixed each problem but I've never experienced alot of problems from the application process to living here for 3weeks and having to put in alot of maintenance stuff. Also, theres a problem with the staff not knowing how many parking spots they leased out so they had to take a week to get inventory that's a problem but the apartment itself is beautiful and very homey.

644 City Station is a little on the expensive side for what it is. However, for three people making decent incomes, it has been pretty manageable. We have an okay amount of space and decent perks, like a new, small dog park in the complex, an Amazon Hub, elevators, paid parking (lucky if you can get a spot), and an outdoor hot tub (if you're into that). The location is okay, and I like being next to the Frontrunner as well as the Green Line Trax station. The complex is gated (more of a hassle than it's worth) and the houses on the block surrounding it are scheduled to be demolished (probably for more exorbitant housing for rich college kids to stay in), which all speaks to the gross gentrification going on in this and other areas downtown. The complex is also under new management, and the transition from the old management was not smooth at all. However, I believe GreyStar is doing a decent job so far. Overall, I would recommend 644 City Station if you want to stay within walking or public transit distance of downtown and the rent is not an issue for you. However, you could probably find something cheaper and nicer elsewhere if you're willing to live a bit farther out in the valley.

Hi there, we appreciate your honest feedback. If you ever need anything from us, please feel free to give us a call or stop by the office. Thank you!
We’ve been here a couple of years now, and we love it. It’s clean, quiet, comfortable, and everything works great. The office crew is always very helpful and prompt; they even send me texts when I get packages! The maintenance department is also top notch. The few times we have ever needed something adjusted or repaired, he is on the ball and takes care of it within a couple of hours. I’ve never lived any place where this happens. I can’t say enough good things about this complex. -Joe (and Pearl)

The management refuse to address the multitude of problems 644 City Station has. They act as though they don't know what the problems are, but in fact they know exactly what the issues are that need to be addressed. They would rather spend their time writing responses to the well earned 1-star reviews that they receive. The building is in constant disrepair (broken gates, doors, elevators), smelly hallways (backed up trash chutes and some of the residents let their pets pee in the hallways, this has been ongoing for months with no action from management to date), there is only one option for internet and it's atrocious (haven't had consistent internet access for over a month, management doesn't care), they will surely nickel and dime you at the end of your lease and my vehicle has been broken into (no action from management unless you count the times that they force me to park on the street despite the parking space that I have to pay extra for). Save yourself the frustration and please don't let them sweet talk you into signing a lease.

We're disappointed to see your time at our community has not resulted in a higher rating. We strive to provide an exceptional resident experience to all who call our community home and regret that we've missed the mark in your instance. We would love the opportunity to sit down with you, discuss your experience in greater detail, and work towards improving your time with us overall. Please call the office at your earliest convenience and schedule an appointment to speak with management directly if you are interested in doing so. Thank you. We look forward to hearing from you.
DO NOT RENT HERE. Please find another apartment or home instead of 644 City Station. My partner and I moved out three years ago and receive yearly bills attempting to collect money for damages we never inflicted on the apartment. They will send a bill, we fight them for weeks, they eventually let up and state our business is concluded, wait a year and begin the process again. Each time they bill us it's for completely different made up charges along with different fee amounts. How hard up for money do you have to be to attempt collecting money from previous tenants? Especially those who rented years ago? I would happily give them 0 stars if possible because the experience they've given has been so poor and unprofessional. Protect yourself against predatory businesses.

We're sorry to see you were not pleased with your time here at our community. We were under different management during your stay, and we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. We appreciate the time you've taken to share your thoughts, and we wish you all the best on your future endeavors.
I recently move in to the complex with my husband. We were kind of in a pinch, and they let us move in the same day we toured. So far we enjoy everything except the price point. The apartments are large and comfortable, and they let you paint! We dont have to run the AC often, as it is well insulated. The kitchen has tons of cabinet room, and all new appliances. The tubs are over sized, and we never have trouble with hot water or water pressure. Our 2 bedroom also comes with 2 HUGE walk in closets. There is a really nice courtyard, with an outdoor TV, hottub, and grill. The fitness room is a little limited, but it is kept clean and it serves its purpose. There are two trax stops, less than 2 blocks away. As for the price, the base price is right what I would expect to pay for a 2 bedroom. However, there is also a media package ($90), base utilities-water, sewage, garbage ($40), parking (varies), washer drier rental ($40), and renters insurance ($10). This does not include heat or electricity. It gets expensive fast. Still, a pretty cool place to live!
We moved to 644 last summer. We moved into a top floor east facing apartment with a view of the city. We have more space than most people in relative big cities and we have trax right next door. All of the appliances are upgraded and having a dishwasher, washer dryer hook ups and a huge walk in closet is totally a plus. Although rent is on the pricier side I'm happy to say this apartment is our dream apartment in a great location. Also... we have a huge hottub with a giant flatscreen on the end of it and a big grill. It's the ultimate spot for fall parties!
