Yes, this busy business district is as urban as one might expect considering its proximity to Manhattan, but it is also home to historic treasures, art galleries, a waterfront amphitheater, sculpture gardens, and beautiful parks. The train into Manhattan – a direct route with trains leaving every two hours – takes only about 30 minutes.
Downtown Yonkers is one of Westchester County’s most walkable neighborhoods, and residents enjoy walking along the riverfront and exploring the shops and restaurants this area is famous for. Untermyer Park, built in 1899, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This beautiful park includes gardens, a pergola, a waterfall, and a small amphitheater. I called four times, and someone answered my call and immediately hung up the phone on every call without saying hello. During the last call, the representative at 66 Main forwarded my call to her voicemail. If this management company behaves rude, dismissive, disrespectful, and unprofessional to people inquiring about renting from them, I could only imagine how careless they are at managing current tents. First impressions are valuable, and renting from Kohl is an absolute no for me. I rate them ZERO STARS!
