Nestled less than 20 miles west of Downtown Atlanta, Lithia Springs is a charming community located in northeastern Douglas County. Named for its historic “lithia” mineral water springs, this small town is home to an abundance of rentals, ranging from upscale apartments to single-family homes, all at an affordable price. Although Lithia Springs is a popular suburb, it’s residential streets offer a peaceful environment ideal for families and commuters. You’ll find locals exploring Sweetwater Creek State Park in their free time. This historic wooded state park offers scenic hiking trails, boating, fishing, and more. Lithia Springs boasts proximity to Six Flags Over Georgia, a major perk for families in the area. Although commuting to Atlanta is simple, Marietta, Sandy Springs, and West Midtown are a few of the communities residents can commute to as well.

Property Ratings at 670 Thornton
We are now told the pools, which include the grills are now closed indefinitely. Our $70 a month amenities fee is being wasted one pool has been closed the entire summer and the other has been open only a few days the entire summer. This is completely ridiculous. No other complex has this issue and the property manager and corporate does not care apparently. The sign on one pool says it is open, maintenance said it was open, yet the property manager brought security to remove us from the pool yesterday. Yet when I called security three times when he was needed at the pool he never showed up! But he showed up to remove three rent and amenity fee paying women who were peacefully sunbathing by the pool? DO NOT LEASE HERE if you intend to relax by the pools or want to barbecue as those amenities will not be reliably available to you. Choose another complex.
Miss Cynthia and the leasing staff have been a wonderful help in my transition to moving into this property. Amazing apartment and wonderful area. Would recommend to anyone.
I legit have no complaints with my apartment no bugs no leaks nothing , the employees are always working everyday to make are neighborhood look good they send emails and updates on everything nice place to live and very affordable.
Ants are literally everywhere! No matter how clean you keep your apartment the place is still infested ! I’ve been BEGGING them since December to do something about it ! Still nothing has been done and it is now April! I can’t wait to move out!
The neighborhood itself is really quiet but the management sucks. You have to constantly put in maintenance requests and STILL nothing gets resolved in a timely manner. The security gates are always open so anybody can come in. We pay for pest control yet I’ve seen multiple roaches in my apartment and I never lived in that type of environment so I got multiple roach bombs myself because no one ever came to resolve the issue after I made several request about it and made calls. There’s only one trash compact and it builds up with so much trash so fast making the complex look so nasty and ghetto. Again the complex it self is quiet and my actual apartment is nice everything else starting with management is horrible.
Maintenance is always polite and listens to what we are saying. I have been very satisfied each time I have a problem.
The employees are very sweet and caring about our needs. The entire complex is beautiful and acquires a nice modern taste.
I like the friendliness and helpfulness of the personnel that work at the front desk. I have been pretty satisfied with everything other than the maintenance.
FROM WHAT I HAVE EXPERIENCED I LIGHT THE COMMUNITY VERY MUCH SOR FAR.
Convenient to work and shopping. I love the security gates and many amenities that the apartment community has to offer.
Pleasant and quiet area. I would like to see restrictions signs placed on loud music, and gate violators prosecuted since we have a camera in place to catch them and they still constantly break the gate following behind cars.
It's right there off Taunton Road ez-220 and I will always tell someone about it
Do NOT move here!!! I am a current resident and it’s absolutely horrible here. I’ve been complaining about my refrigerator for months, they finally came to replace it (only after I set up a meeting with the property manager...which the maintenance man came by 15 minutes before I was set to meet with her saying “I’m going to get you a better refrigerator, don’t talk too bad about us in there”)...anyway he brought another refrigerator, and surprise it’s broken too! The freezer doesn’t work on it, hence I had to throw away food. I mean it’s so bad an ice cream sandwich melted in there. Not to mention my cabinets are old & some hanging off the hinge, which I was told it would be taken care of when I first reported it after I moved in. There’s mold in the apartment, then when you report it they say “just use some bleach”. My appliances don’t match. The shower heads in my bathrooms spray water out of the sides. The AC unit leaks water. They offered me to move into another apartment while they fix all the stuff in mine but I would have to pay more. Umm, tell me why should I pay more for something that needs to be fixed, that’s someone else’s screw up not mine. On top of that, the apartment won’t be ready until August, my lease is up in October. So isn’t that pretty pointless. So, you know where I’ll be in October, not here!! Oh yea, they like to brag on the amenities, far as that goes it sucks too! Yea the pool by the leasing office looks nice, but go check out that car wash area! It’s a piece of junk. You get more water on yourself than you do your car. If you looking for a nice place don’t, I repeat DO NOT move here!! If could rate it a zero star I would.
I'm so thankful and blessed to have the opportunity to be in this space!!! I love it thanks for everything??????!!!
I would recommend this community to anyone the wanted to live in a quiet well kept environment, Thanks to Mr.Terry and the office personnel.
It is quiet area, so I will recommend it favorably.
I would recommend this apartment community because the leasing office professionals are so helpful. They answered all of my questions and helped me understand the apartment leasing process thoroughly. Robin and Andrew are amazing!
There seems to be a good effort to keep the grounds kept up. The gate is a constant battle to keep in operation they seem to keep on that. Location is excellent with easy access to stores and highway
I don't live here as yet. Waiting on the honesty in pricing.
I've been searching for an apartment for a few weeks. Several of the leasing representatives in other complexes were very dismissive. The other apartment complexes had leasing agents that weren't attentive to my needs. EVERYONE in the leading office at The Fields at Waterford worked hard and got me into my renovated apartment. It truly was an outstanding customer service experience.
My only complaint would be that my rent goes up every year for a non-upgraded apartment
Si recomendaria este lugar. Me encanta la ubicacion, y se respira mucha tranquilidad aqui. Pero todavia tienen cosas que tienen que mejorar. Por ejemplo solo hay un contenedor de basura y esta muy alejado.
You would think after I had a home invasion last year at this property and the manager stating it isn’t her concern that this community would actually attempt to do their job. I’ve been waiting over a month for a rental verification , being this is the only apartment I lived in I have no other option. I’ve called multiple times and visit in person and it’s always an excuse and promising it will get done. Lisa the assistant manager promised me she would do it two weeks ago and it’s still not done, they lost the form multiple times and it’s ridiculous. This community does not care about anyone nor is it safe. I had an HOME INVASION here. Please do yourself a favor and don’t move here. I called corporate and regional manager and no answer. This management company and community is a joke.
The apartments are great and fairly priced but the back and forth when trying to move out made it unpleasant.
The community is quiet, and centrally located the tenants are friendly, but the apartments are seriously in need of an upgrade!
I would recommend due to how quiet it is. However, I would warn them the staff is hard to get a hold of and they really don't care about your maintenance issues.
yes
The apartment complex is a good location for a good price in spite of the market increase. I have been living here for about 3 years now. However, I wish when the apartment complex does upgrades on the units, they would go beyond the superficial (ex. new paint, fixtures, etc). These apartments have structural issues. I had to have my air conditioner replaced because it was blowing cold air in the winter and hot air in the spring. I'm still having issues with ants because they are within the walls of the building. Pest control coming in and haphazardly spraying pesticide in the corners and crevices won't fix the problem (consider tenting your buildings instead). I also wish there was a security officer at night time. I had two incidents where I had objects thrown through my window and I came home to shattered glass in my bedroom, causing me to relocate to another building. Maintenance has been great tho.
I have been a resident for 4 years. It has been so much better now that Ms. Jackie has become the property manager. She is very thorough at her job. She has contacted me several times to confirm my satisfaction with different services for my home. I am very pleased with this new company. I am now proud to say I live at the Fields Waterford Point.
I recently became a resident into the Fields Waterford Point and the process was AMAZINGLY smooth. I moved into a newly renovated unit with beautiful all white cabinets, light wood floors and new all black appliances. Ms. Jackie(the property manager) and Ms. Renea were both so nice and professional. Prior to moving in they both kept me updated with the renovation process. There were little things that needed to be done after moving and Ms. Jackie got them done within 48 hours. Also she called me to eneure that they were done to my liking. She is amazing! The grounds are also kept up and look very nice.
I am a long time renter here at the The Fields Waterford Point and I recently sat down with the office staff to sign a new lease. I specifically worked with Jacqueline who made the whole process very satisfying. We discussed a few maintenance issues that I needed addressed and I walked away feeling satisfied on how I was treated. This is a new staff here now and they really are professional and experienced. Terry in maintenance was the staff member who addressed my apartment issues and he was just awesome. He has 30 plus years of experience I was told and it shows. Keep up the great work guys!

We are really excited that you have decided to stay with us, and thank you so much for your kind words!!
I live in Wisconsin. Six months ago, I acquired an apt for my daughter here, who is a college student in Atlanta. I could not have picked a better place! The apartment is nice and clean, it is safe, and I cannot say enough about the staff! They truly go over and beyond to make sure their tenants are satisfied and comfortable. Thank you Waterford Point!

The price is affordable and it is one of the safest apartments in Lithia Springs. Renovations are needed for appliances and cabinets.Grounds are kept nice but the gym is only open during their business hours. Good luck with your apartment search:)
