Property Ratings at 7 Chestnut St
Move here if you want the following (good, bad and in between) : - Poor and disrespectful management who do not address your concerns effectively, if at all. -large, spacious apartment with a beautiful antique design - broken elevator that take weeks to get fixed, building door broken half the time and doorbell that never works so you miss all your deliveries or people from apartment just steal them (oh and management can't help because apparently the cameras aren't everywhere) -mice, mice and more mice. Get used to them because the building is infested. Even if you hire your own exterminator and the building exterminator comes and lays down traps and poisons (as if that actually solves the issue - _-), your mice friends are here to stay because they have several entrances which management does not want to address or resolve. -friendly super on site. Kudos to you if you speak Spanish, if not, good luck with communicating your problems to him. But don't worry, you can just reach out to the same ineffective management office who won't help LOL. -great location, especially if you work in nyc. Train station is about 2 blocks away. Good luck on your apartment search. I've been trying to move after weeks of moving here.
If you're looking for a huge studio with separate kitchen, and bathroom, it's a great apartment. The rent is really reasonable, and it's a great place to start over, build income, save money for a house, etc. The apartment is close to train station, supermarket, and major highways. I enjoyed living here, to re-establish my credit. It's a great first apartment, or for a student trying to have a decent place to live without paying a lot of money. For an inner city apartment it has great potential. The management is also great at responding to your needs quickly. Mia P., New Jersey
I have been living here for several years. The apartment has large rooms with sunk-in living room. Nice hardwood floor. Large size windows which provide great lighting. Has many closets. The building has laundry facility on site. Heat, hot/cold water and garbage collection are included.
