If you desire value, fashionable aesthetics, and a comfortable environment to live in, the 700 Acqua Apartments is the place to be. In my two years living there, I would confidently give it top marks! Brittany is the most competent property manager I've dealt with over my many years of moving around with the military. She’s attentive to the clients' needs and attends to them without delay. Furthermore, the maintenance personnel Rob, Teresa, and John consistently keep the property in great condition. Overall, I recommend the 700 Acqua Apartments and I’m confident that anyone who chooses to live here will not be disappointed.
I have been an apartment manager for the last five years for a different company, and I chose to make Windy Knolls my home. They are priced right, the amenities are good, and the apartments are quality. I would highly recommend this community.
I have lived here since February and have had the stove broke, the shower head broke, the washer broke, the AC broke and not even cool down the entire apartment so I had to buy a fan, septic tank issue that caused it to overflow, constant bugs even though pest control comes out twice a month (1st floor apartment), and I barely get any relief from upstairs neighbors stomping around. These leasing office agents and maintenance are quick, but these are wayyy too many issues within 6 months for me to be paying “luxury” prices. My biggest regret is signing a 12 month lease.
Terrible neighbors, who have "seniority" and get to do whatever including punching our door. Both our cars have been broke into numerous times. The office wouldn't show the 'video' to the police? Dog poop every where! even in the parking lot at times. "Gated" community where the gate is either broken or open on a regular basis.
This apartment complex has gorgeous apartments. The one bedroom is a great value, and all of the floorplans have spacious layouts. Parking around the complex is never an issue. It is also nice to be in a gated complex. That is where the great aspects of this community end unfortunately. The leasing office staff is not very well versed in customer service and make it very obvious that this is a business that apparently only cares about making a buck. There is an online portal for paying rent and it claims to offer you the convenience to make maintenance requests, but that is not the case. When maintenance does come, etiquette goes out the window as they knock while simultaneously opening your door and fail to take off, let alone simply wipe off, their dirty shoes before walking through the apartment. The clubhouse is very nice, yet is only open business hours unless you pay a $100 fee plus a deposit. There are coffee pots in the clubhouse, except no coffee is ever available. The "business center" consists of two very outdated computers without Microsoft Office. The gym also has very outdated cardio equipment, the TVs only get about 6 channels, and Wifi is not available. On the plus side, the gym does have nice Nautilus machines for strength training. Lastly, there is no recycling available, which is very odd for a "luxury" apartment in 2015. I hope that this helps prospective residents in weighing their options while apartment-searching, as I wish I had someone to tell me all of this before moving in.

We offer tons of great services to our residents one being daily refreshments in the clubhouse area while enjoying TV, computer/printer in the workroom. We have since updated the computer monitors in the workroom and weight room equipment has been updated three new treadmills and elliptical in 2016. Here at 700 Acqua we strive daily to provide exceptional customer service across the board. The office staff is eager at all times to help within any problems brought to our attention. The clubhouse area is now offering "refreshments and coffee" now that the weather has changed. The business center is open 24 hours, 24 hour weight room area as well as the clubhouse is rentable for events. Management does ask for a deposit which is "refundable" once the keys are returned. The on line portal is very convenient as we are about 75% user friendly across the board with ACH payments. The portal will not allow you to pay different amounts at the time of payment. This has been a concern in the past; however it is clearly for your convenience to pay your rental payment. Management would love to address any concerns that you may have moving forward while still residing here at 700 Acqua. Again, we are eager to satisfy our visiting prospects as well as our current residents if we are aware of issues. We offer a variety of services while living here at 700 Acqua at Windy Knolls (gated community, 24 hour business center, 24 hour weight room area, carwash and vacuum area, daily refreshments cookies and fresh coffee, additional storage area, remote controlled garages) which makes us stand out from the rest of the competition. We are tucked away in a quite area but yet very close to food and entertainment lights away. We truly enjoy catering to our customers new and current with daily refreshments provided in the clubhouse area. Now, that the weather is changing we offer fresh coffee and hot apple cider daily in the clubhouse. We hope you continue your stay here and take advantage of the GREAT amenities you mentioned in your review as well as take advantage of the additional refreshments being offered in the clubhouse area. I moved into this community in the summer of 2012 and lived there for about a year and a half. I loved the location, community, layout of the apartment, aesthetics of everything, etc., however, there were major issues with repairs and false charges after my move out. Upon moving in I noticed the carpet in the entry way had recently been repaired and had been done so with very poor patchwork. There were also water stains on the cabinets and the apartment was generally unclean. After two weeks of discussions the cabinets were finally re-stained and the apartment underwent a more sufficient cleaning, however, the poorly patched carpet was untouched. Two months after I moved out I got a voicemail stating that I had a past due balance that was being sent to collections. I had no contact via mail, email or phone notifying me of the charges to begin with. Upon inquiring I was informed that I was being charged for the replacement of the carpet due to there being several cuts in it aka the patchwork. The leasing office claimed that I had turned in a blank move in walk through and that since it wasn't noted on that I was being charged for the replacement of the carpet. Luckily, I had a email that had been sent discussing my frustrations and the leasing office was able to go back through their maintenance records to confirm that someone had been out to repair the carpet. Once this was cleared up I was told that I still had a balance owed, despite the fact that I had paid everything in full prior to my move out. After more research this was confirmed and I was actually refunded money, however, this did not occur until after the complex threatened my credit with the intentions of sending these false charges to a collection agency. If you plan to move to this community I would recommend keeping record of all interactions with the leasing office and maintenance team.

This is a very nice place to live. You do not have to worry about saftey because it is very safe. There is nothing for the kids to do if you have little ones because there is no playground area for them to go outside to burn energy. The office staff is great and there very nice and polite. I have a neighbor with kids that run around alot and it sounds like there coming through the ceiling this is the only downfall and sometimes it is after 12 midnight and they are still horse playing around were my things will sometimes fall off the wall. If something needs to be fixed they make sure it gets fixed.
